Azalea Rose Willow loves three things above everything else:
summer, the only season that mattered in her mind.

"Be my summer in a winter day,
I can't see one thing wrong, Between the both of us.
Be mine, yeah. Anytime.
But since you came along, I'm thinking you are bringing out a different kind of me."
"Who's that one about?" Finnick teased, standing on her bedroom window.
Excitement bubbled within her as she squealed, immediately leaving her guitar by the bed and throwing her arms around him, "You're back!"
Finnick chuckled, hugging her back
As they parted, they both stared at one another, looking deeply into one another's eyes as they both blushed.
The air between them was charged with unspoken feelings as they locked eyes. The lingering silence was finally broken when Azalea looked playfully into Finnick's eyes with a casual, "Hey."
"Hey." Finnick smirked back, not breaking eye contact.
"So how was the birthday party?"
"Not better than the one I got here, that's for sure," Finnick grinned, making Azalea blush as she looked down momentarily before looking back at him again and smiling.
The closeness between them felt new and exciting, a sensation neither of them could quite believe as they enjoyed the warmth of the moment.
Azalea playfully whined, "Yesterday was so boring without you."
"I've only been gone for a day."
"Worst day ever."
Finnick teased, "Awe, Did you miss me that much?"
"Oh Shut up." Azalea protested, before adding, "but maybe a little."
Finnick laughed at her, as he gently put a loose strand of her hair behind her ear, his hand lingering by the side of her face. A sly grin playing on his face as he spoke, "I did miss doing one thing yesterday."
"And what was it?" Azalea inquired, a innocent and playful grin on her face.
"Doing this," Finnick said as he closed the gap between them by kissing her gently.
Azalea, caught off guard by the sudden kiss, couldn't help but smile into it.
As they shared a sweet moment, Finnick couldn't help but savor the taste of her lips. Azalea's heartbeat quickened, and when they pulled away, her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue.
Azalea, still slightly breathless, teased, "You have a way of making up for the boring days, Finnick Odair."
Before Finnick could reply, they were both stopped by the sound of the front door swinging open.

The pair froze in their tracks as they looked over to the door, "Is your dad back yet?"
"He's not supposed to be back until the afternoon. If he sees you here, you're dead Odair." Azalea whispered back.
"Azalea?" Tomás asked from downstairs.
Panic flashed in both Azalea and Finnick's eyes, before she whispered,"Get out. Now. Now!"
In a swift motion, Finnick darted toward the window, adrenaline coursing through his veins. He managed to slip through it and onto the ledge, skillfully maneuvering his way into his room just in time, his heart pounding.
Azalea took a deep breath, trying to compose herself as she replied, "Yeah, Dad, I'm here."
As Azalea spoke her dad emerged from the door frame into her room. Azalea tried to act casual as her dad entered the room, unaware of Finnick's brief presence.
"I didn't think you'd be back until later tonight." Azalea smiled, hoping to look as natural as possible from the previous scene.
Tomas eyed her for a moment, as he replied, "I came back for my notebooks I forgot this morning."
Azalea smiled at him, thinking of what to say, before Tomás asked her, "Who were you talking to?",
The father's intuition lingering in the air, catching Azalea off-guard.
"Oh, just, just, I was talking with," Azalea started as she looked around her room, trying to find a lie to her dad's inquiry. Her gaze landed on her window before answering, "I was just talking with Finnick!"
Azalea innocently smiled before walking over with her dad to her bedroom window, which gave a direct way to Finnick's victor home.
"Finnick?" Tomás asked, looking into an empty window.
Finnick awkwardly appeared into frame, trying to look as natural as possible, and not like he had just ran a marathon from Azaleas room into his.
"Oh, hey Tomás." Finnick said, hoping to sound casual as he scratched the back of his head, which only made Tomás look more suspicious.
"You sounded a lot closer before." Tomas expressed as stared at them, then gestured between the two rooms. He didn't question it further though, "I didn't know your rooms were this close."
"We usually talk through our windows." Azalea explained, hoping the answer would satisfy her dad from any further questions.
"Well, As long as you stay on that side of the room, we're good," he joked with a smirk, as both Azalea and Finnick awkwardly laughed at his joke. Thankfully, Tomás did not catch on to this.
Her dad left the window to exit her room, before speaking back to her. "I thought you had work this morning."
"Lukka told me to come in the afternoon instead. Actually I should get going." Azalea smiled in realisation, knowing this was the best excuse to leave her dad.
"Ok, I will see you tonight then!" Tomás shouted back as he headed for his room. Azalea grabbed her bag as she ran down the stairs, "yes see you tonight, bye Pa!"
Azalea shut down the entrance door as she let out a sigh of relief, knowing they'd gotten away with it.
As she opened her eyes, she saw Finnick closing the door to his home. She quickly walked towards him as they began to walk out of the Victor's Village.
