1960- Death of Cal Hood

''Just go.''

''No.''

''C'mon don't be a pussy.''

''I'm not a pussy. You're the pussy Stanley.''

''If you weren't a pussy, then you'd be in the forest by now.''

''Fine,'' Cal huffed.

He walked into the forest with Stanley, his friend at the entrance of the woods. Legend says these woods were haunted; full of mythical and satanic creatures who are ready to rip your insides out. No one dared to enter these woods except dumb teenagers such as 19-year-old Cal. He walked about 100 feet in, still able to see Stanley.

''Farther!'' Stanley shouted.

He went another 100 feet.

''Further!'' Stanley yelled.

Sighing, he turned around and feeling confident, walked 500 feet more into the woods. He looked up at the trees and they were beautiful. The sky was a dark blue, mixing with the clouds. He breathed in the pine smell.

''Stanley! Dude! Come check this out! Its beauti-'' He turned around to not see Stanley. He didn't see anything there. He couldn't make out Stanley's face but there should certainly be an outline of a body standing at the entrance. Instead there was nothing.

''Dude?'' Cal asked particularly. He fixed his hat only to hear a growl behind him.

Cal turned around to have some creature tackle him to the ground. He started screaming and trying to fight the creature. He tried to pull him off but all he felt was fur.

The creature sunk his teeth into his arm and took one bite. The creature spit and yelped. He ran off after biting Cal, disgusted and still hungry.

Cal sat up and examined his bite. There were teeth marks and blood coming out. Some scratches that felt like claw marks. It looked almost like a dog bite...

''Seriously, dude? I was in the middle of something,'' Luke huffed.

Calum rolled his eyes. ''Just go wash your hands and hurry up. You know I hate waiting.'' Luke got up while Cal sat on the bed.

''Hi,'' Abby stuck out her hand. Calum looked at her.

''I didn't touch anything I promise.''

He laughed and shook her hand. ''Did you meet Luke last night?'' Cal and Abby leaned back into the pillows.

''Yeah. He's really nice. He's letting me live here.''

Calum coughed like he choked on his own spit. ''He's letting you live here?''

Abby shook her head. ''He said it would be alright. I'm sorry if it's not.''

''No, it's just that Luke doesn't really move that fast with his lady-friends.''

''Lady-friends? How many have there been?'' Abby asked.

''Too many to count,'' Calum laughed. Abby just stared at the ceiling.

Luke came back into the room and Calum and him walked out to go fix Evan or something.

''Was I just another girl? Did he just ask me to move in like he asked every other girl? Am I the only one that accepted because I'm so stupid? How many girls were there before me? How many are gonna be after me? When is Luke going to cut me off?'' Abby thought.

She sighed and tried to make her headache go away. She started to fall asleep, hoping when Luke came back he wouldn't want to talk.
