Ego

You,
You look arrogant,
It's truthfully relevant,
As if others are only air for you,
Only you, your lies and your fake smiles,

Your look,
It tells me nothing,
It's like your soul is empty,
Waiting for you to feed something good,
They say the true you is your soul,
But your ego isn't,
When will you realise, what your soul wants?
It's only your ego, that haunts,

You look at me like you would be better,
But better at what?
Like you would have achieved more than me,
But achieved what?

Our achievements can't compare,
That's just fair,
You don't know, what your soul wants,
It's only your ego, that haunts.
