3rd pov:
Y/n gets onboard the train to Hogwarts. All of the other compartments were full of students.
After a while of looking for a job to sit in, she spots a compartment with one person in it, reading a book.
Y/n asks the dark brooding man "Excuse me? Do you mind if I sit with you?"
The man turns to look at her with a cold gaze and nods then returns to reading his book again ignoring the girl.
Y/n's pov:
I went to put my luggage up on the shelf but I could not reach it, so I struggled, then I noticed a hand push my luggage up for me, I turned to look at the tall dark figure behind me.
He was standing so close, he smells nice. He smelled like old books, rain and potions, "Thank you" I say to the man, he nods and sits down then he reads his book again.
I sat down and looked out of the window, marveling at the scene outside. I haven't been to Hogwarts in a long time, this is bringing back so many memories.
The whole ride to Hogwarts was quiet, I took out a book from my bag and read it, ignoring the dark brooding man in front of me.
Time skip ✨
I finally arrived at Hogwarts, and I started walking through the halls of Hogwarts admiring the nostalgia, while heading to the great hall.
When I entered the great hall, there were many students, Slytherins, Gryffindor's, Ravenclaw's, and Hufflepuff's. I looked up at the bewitched ceiling gaping at how beautiful it is.
I sat down on an empty seat at the teacher's table, I looked at the entrance to the great hall open and saw a whole bunch of new first-year students and I watched them gape at their surroundings.
"Now before we begin, Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words" Professor mcgonagall says.
Dumbledore stands up, "I have a few new start of term notices I wish to announce, for the first year's please note that the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all students, also our caretaker Mr. Filch has asked me to inform you that the third floor corridor on the right hand side, is out of bounds, to everyone who does not want to die a most painful death" should I run? I thought to myself
"And please also welcome our new professor for magical creatures, professor L/n." I stood up from my chug ai and bowed slightly, then I sat back down. Professor mcgonagall starts calling out the first year's names and sorting them to their houses, I also saw the famous harry potter, poor boy who lost his parent's at such a young age.
Once everyone was sorted to their houses, with a flick of dumbledores hand different various types of delicious food appeared and all the children immediately started eating.
I start eating my food while professor mcgonagall starts small talk with me,
"it's nice to see you again, Y/n" she says, "it's nice to see you again too, professor mcgonagall" I smiled at her, it was really nice to see her again.
"please call me minerva, we're coworkers now after all." "oh right, okay minerva".
She then starts introducing me to the rest of the staff, "then that is professor snape, he's the potions master". I looked to my right to meet the man I saw earlier at the train, I smiled at him "hello, it's nice to meet you again professor snape, we met at the train earlier ". He looked at me with a cold glare and said with a deep monotone voice "yes, I remember you." he really isn't much of a talker huh?
Time skip
Y/n pov:
I walked to my chambers, i opened the door and i saw all my luggage already there, i opened one of my luggage and my pet Ferret F/n (ferret name). "hello f/n! Did you miss me?"
The white ferret runs around the room getting new to his surroundings.
I took a shower, then changed into my pj's and went to bed. This bed is soo soft then i immediately fell asleep
