CHAPTER TWO
"THE MINOTAUR ACTUALLY WEARS UNDERWEAR?"

Hadiya’s hair stuck to the back of her neck and to the sides of her face as the rain poured down while she stood with Grover who knocked urgently on the door of the cabin. Her purple jacket keeping her Black top dry she looked up at the sky seeing the dark clouds and night sky as Grover knocked again.

“Who is it?!” A voice called

“Mrs. Jackson? It's Grover and Hadiya.” Grover said “This is a little time sensitive. Could someone maybe open the door?”

They watched Percy argue and protest against his mother as she walked over opening the door.

“I asked to have the night, you said we could all leave in the morning?” Sally asked

“I know, we’re  so sorry we’re early, but we didn’t have a choice. Things changed, everything is developing a lot faster than we anticipated.” Hadiya said with squinted eyes to see the brunette woman.

“Early?” Percy asked, standing helplessly in the middle of the room, with a confused expression written across his face. Sally turned to look at her son, opening the door more letting the two kids in. “You should have asked me before you-” Percy said, stopping short. When the two soaking wet kids walked into the cabin. “Whatever it is you're going to say I don’t wanna…hear it, Grover?”

“Percy.” Grover nodded

“Hey, Perc.” Hadiya smiled quickly at him before running a hand through her hair and out of her face.

“Okay so something is coming. . .”Grover started

“Grover-” Percy said

“And We know that sounds really bad-”

“Grover?-”

“But the important thing is not to panic.”Grover finished

“Im not panicking” Sally said

“It's only you.” Hadiya said, resting hand on his shoulder, with a tight lipped smile.

“Grover?!”

“Oh-Great! I'm also definitely not panicking.” Grover said panic in his voice “I feel very good about how we’re doing so far-”

“Grover!” Percy said once again but much louder.

“What?!” Grover shouted back

“Grover? Why is there half a goat in your pants?”Percy asked looking down at the boy's legs that weren't legs they were goat legs with hoof at the bottom instead of feet.

“Oh that's-” Grover said looking down at his legs “Oh boy-she didn’t tell you about-” he started, making Hadiya run a hand down her face “You didn’t tell him about me?” He asked Sally

“You’re early.” She sighed
He nodded and looked back at Percy “The important thing is not to panic”

“We should really continue this in the car…” Hadiya said sheepishly

“Agreed” Sally said “Lets go” She said walking to grab her jacket.

The headlights brightened the road ahead through the downpouring rain as the car zipped down the empty street.

“Our job has been to guide you to this moment. It's always an emotional rollercoaster for a young demigod. So providing a support system is really-” Grover started but Percy cut him off

“Who are you?” The blonde boy asked the two kids.

“We’re Grover and Hadiya. Your best friends and-”
