PAX had ended a few days ago. I had flown back to LA, I was taking my finals tomorrow. Right now I was packing up my room, little by little with the help of Mikayla, She was staying with me as a buffer between me and Mark. I had taken the liberty of changing Marks Name in my phone from Dad to just Mark F. He found out that Dad told me about my file. He was pissed. I heard him screaming over the phone to him. Of course being the eavesdropper I am, I listened hearing Dad stand up for me. He told Mark that I had every right to know about My adoption papers and that he was done letting Mark yell at me for no reason.

Dad had texted me this morning wishing me luck on my finals. He was a day ahead of us. I sent the laughing emoji telling him it wasn't tomorrow for me yet. He sent back laughing emojis and told me he forgets that he's a whole day a head of me. "So Have you told Bryan about the whole adoption thing?" I nodded. "yeah I texted him. He said It was Bullshit that Mark lied" Mikayla nodded. "So where are you going to stay once Im in Florida for nationals?" I asked, curious since she wouldn't graduate until May 27th. "Im not sure, I think Aaron might be in town but if all else fails Ill just crash at Peytons" Aaron was her older brother, He's in the Army, but should be off deployment by the time I leave. Peyton was one of my school dance team friends, who also plays Basketball for the girls team at our school. "Im sure Mark will let you stay here, He likes you better than me" I commented. She smirked. "real funny Allie" I laughed at her remark.

We got the last box of things that I could pack now, putting it in the storage closet in the connected bathroom. we sat on my bed, both of us on our phones. I studied earlier today for my 6 finals I had tomorrow. I scrolled through Instagram, liking photos from friends and a few others that I knew. Mikayla sat in the bean bag chair on the floor. It was quiet, but at the same time, we enjoyed each others company. About an hour later, I heard a quiet knock at my door. I looked at Mikayla, she looked at me. She stood up, walking over to the door. I sat up, putting my phone face down on my bed.

Mikayla opened the door, Mark stood there, His face full of tears. I sighed, crossing my arms across my chest. "What do you want Mark?" I spat at him. "Allison, Please, Im sorry. Im sorry I never signed your adoption papers, Im sorry ive been so horrible to you. I love you, I really do and I want to be a father to you, I just...Im sorry" Tears streamed down his face. Mikayla turned to me. I closed my eyes and shook my head. "You're out of time, You should have done that months ago Mark. Nay years ago. This is your fault." I spat angrily, feeling my body temperature rise with anger. I got up off the bed. He sadly looked at me. "Please...Just give me a chance to prove it to you" I shook my head. "No. You had your chance, You took it and tore it into pieces. As soon as Im done with school, Im leaving. Im going to New Jersey to be with the man who actually loves me and who would literally walk through hell for me." I closed the door. I huffed. "I need to get out of here" I spoke softly to Mikayla. "I know a place" She walked over to the window, opening it. "Grab your stuff." She spoke. I grabbed my backpack, putting my phone, laptop, chargers, headphones and other random things I might need and jumped out the window with her. It wasn't too horrible of a jump.

We got into my car, heading towards one of Mikaylas friends houses. "you remember Jesse Longmire don't you?" Mikayla asked. "yeah why?" "Well since her parents died she inherited their old beach house, She knows Aaron so when I asked if we could stay there she happily obliged and Its only about 15 minutes from the school, and Frankie said they hired a moving truck to come collect the rest of your stuff after graduation." I smiled. "You truly are my best friend" I smiled at her. She smiled back.

The house was close to the school. We drove past it on our way up here. It was a nice beach house. I parked the car in the driveway. Mikayla had told me that the house was fully furnished and had a maid that came through and cleaned the house after each stay. We walked in through the dutch door that wad framed with arched steel and glass frames all around it, causing rainbows to form on the floor, due to the sun. I walked into the dining room, taking in the view, there was a giant branching bubble chandelier hanging above the six person dining room table.

Mikayla walked into the living room plopping down on one of the light blue couches that were adorned with white pillows that had light grey stripes going across them. "This place is amazing!" I cheered. Mikayla laughed. "Yeah, it sure is" "So remind me how does Jesse know Aaron?" Mikayla laughed. "There dating, Im not supposed to say anything but she's living with him out where he deployed so of course when his only sister comes knocking she immediately helps out" I nodded. I sat on one of the couches. "Oh my god, these couches are so soft" I giggled sounding like a child. "Oh I know. Ive spent many nights on these." I laughed as she laid her head on the pillow. we got the tv up and running turning on our favorite tv show.
