Despite her parents belief, Julie Kostenko wasn't exactly known for her reputation as a good girl. She was more-so known for her addictions, and that she basically slept with anyone when drunk enough. She was a beautiful girl, at least thats how people described her. She just had tons of issues that she close to not give a damn to fix. She hid them well, however. To those who didn't attend her parties, she was a prodigy. Perfect grades, skinny, pretty, popular, she was on the debate team for a while, and she did had an after-school job on the weekdays. The perfect girl. As for her best friend, Susie, who fit the bill of perfection slightly more that Julie did in reality, she was seen as the polar opposite. Dyed hair, a bit chunky, cigarette smoker, braces, and a B-C average. However, Susie was morally more correct than Julie ever could be. Their friend, Joey, picked up on this. Julie had tried to sleep with him on multiple occasions while drunk, but he always declined the offer. These girls were his friends, and he especially wasn't interested in Julie. He had a thing for Susie, but was persistent on not ruining that friendship. Julie hated how stubborn he was, not just about her, but on everything. Joey was a great person, but he insisted on being right... About everything. They lived in Ormond. A pretty boring town most known for the abandoned ski resort. A town that once was booming, now for the sad people living there to handle. In Julie's mind, it was up to her to make it as interesting as she could.

Julie slammed a bottle down onto the counter, near to breaking it. "I never said I wanted to fuck him! I just... I mean, look at him!" She spoke to Susie, staring at some stranger in the crowd. Julies parties were like a crane machine, and she was the claw. She picked from the crowd on which boy she'd sleep with that night. Joey came up, grabbing Julie's beer and taking a sip. "Oh, hi Joey!" The girl giggled, grabbing at the collar of his shirt. "Hey Jules..." He rubbed her head, in almost parental way. "What do you say we... Go upstairs?" She asked, hiccuping mid-sentence. "You wanna know something? There has been 0 times you've asked me that question sober." He laughed. "You're a good friend, Joseph." Susie smiled as she said. "Joey." He corrected her. "Yeah, that's never happening." The pair looked at Julie, who upon rejection just looked for someone else in the crowd. "She won't even look at me that way..." Susie sighed. "What? You like her?" Joey asked, genuinely confused. "No, it's just... I want to be looked at that way. Nobody does." This almost made Joey admit his feelings. "Yeah... I wish the same." He opened a new beer bottle and chugged. Susie giggled, but started to walk off, she was only interested in getting home. As she walked out the front door, she saw a shadow in the woods near Julie's. Was probably just one of Jules' boy-toys. She hopped in her car and drove off. "God, I hate her actions. I don't care about her anyway, she probably has like 14 STD's." Susie thought to herself and laughed.

Julie paid attention to detail in the gore she was drawing on a canvas. It wasn't even similar to the assignment that she'd been given, not that she had any reason to give a shit. She got an A+ just by trying because she'd pretend to not be smart in a creative way. Julie was extraordinarily good at drawing dead bodies. Not a talent worth anything, not that anything except alcohol and boys mattered to her. "You some sort of artist?" She heard, as a spine-chillingly cold hand was placed on her bare shoulder. She turned, and met eyes with a scroungy, barely hygienic man. But, he was tall, good enough for Julie Kostenko. "Ha! Hardly. There's nothing better to do in Ormond." She spoke. "Good to know, I just got here." "I can tell." She smiled. "Hm. How so?" He bent near her, she could feel the warmth from his breath. "You're actually fun. Listen, you considered coming to my party tonight? It could be fun." "How forward of you, Julie, You don't even know my name. Plus, wasn't there one last night?" He cooed. "... I never told you mine." She froze, startled but intrigued. "Well, with the risk of sounding like a stalker, this isn't my first time seeing or hearing about you." "Oh, I get it, you wanna sleep with me." She smiled, winking playfully. "Hm. Nah, I think you'd have to earn that." The man snickered. "And I'd have to be pretty drunk to sleep with YOU. Can I at least know your name, high and mighty?" "Frank Morrison." He began to walk off. "Wait, Frank! Don't you want the address at least?" "Trust me, I know where to go!" His giggle trailed off.
