"The Walk of Punishment is a warning, Your Graces." Barristan tells them.

"I know." Y/N answers as Daenerys holds his hand.

"To whom?" Daenerys asks him.

"To any slave who contemplates doing whatever these slaves did." JJ answers as he walks behind them.

Y/N looks to his lover and sees the look she has on her face. In short time he's known her, he can tell what's she's thinking about this.

"Give me your water." Y/N says to Jorah making Daenerys smile lightly.

"My King, Dāria, this man has been sentenced to death." Jorah says making Y/N eye him.

Jorah gives Y/N his canteen and he steps up to a bloodied man and offers a drink. He refuses making Y/N roll his eyes and Daenerys walk closer to them.

"Here, drink." Daenerys tells him but he refuses again.

"Leave this place, Your Graces. Leave tonight, I beg you." Barristan says to them.

"And what are they to do for soldiers?" Jorah asks him.

"We can find sellswords in Pentos and Муг." Barristan says making JJ and Zorah sorta agree.

"Is it 'we' already, Ser Barristan?" Jorah asks.

"You want to sit on the throne your ancestors built, you must win it. That will mean blood on your hands before the thing is done." Jorah says to her.

"The blood of my enemies, not the blood of innocents."
Daenerys replies as she hands back the canteen, and they continue their walk.

"How many wars have you fought in, Ser Barristan?" Jorah asks.

"Three." He answers.

"Have you ever seen a war where innocents didn't die by the thousands?" Jorah asks and Barristan shakes his head.

"I was in King's Landing after the sack, Dāria. You know what I saw? Butchery. Babies, children, old men. More women raped than you can count. There's a beast in every man and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand." Jorah says making Y/N turn to him.

"But the Unsullied are not men. They do not rape. They do not put cities to the sword unless they're ordered to do so. If you buy them, the only men they'll kill are those you want dead." Jorah tells her.

"Do you disagree, Ser Barristan?" Daenerys asks.

"When your brother Rhaegar led his army into battle at the Trident, men died for him because they believed in him, because they loved him, not because they'd been bought at a slaver's auction. I fought beside the last dragon on that day, Your Grace. I bled beside him." Barristan answers her.

"Rhaegar fought valiantly, Rhaegar fought nobly, and Rhaegar died." Jorah says making them see the harsh reality.

"Did you know him well, Ser Barristan?" Daenerys asks.

"I did, Your Grace. Finest man I ever met besides Geralt." Barristan answers making Y/N close his eyes.

Daenerys grabs his hand and holds it, rubbing the back of it.

"I wish I had known him. But he was not the last dragon." Daenerys replies.

"You are." Y/N tells her making her look at him confidently.
