Chapter 17

(Y/n) shuffled his way home, looking quite tired from the day's chaos. "Did you have to rip out his heart?" (Y/n) grumbled out loud to the only being with him, Sukuna. "Don't tell me you're going to be a little bitch about that. He tried to kill you," Sukuna growled.

"Hey! I'm not being a little bitch! I'm just worried we'll be kicked out of our temporary home, since we, and by we I mean you, killed a person!" (Y/n) argued, waving his arms around dramatically. "So let me take over if we go homeless, I'll find us a nice home," Sukuna said, grinning.

"By find, you mean steal," (Y/n) grumbled with an unimpressed look. As (Y/n) approached the gate to their temporary home, an aura of power hit Sukuna like a truck. But (Y/n), being the oblivious vessel that he is, felt nothing and instead spotted a stranger just standing there. "Hey, we got a visitor," (Y/n) noted as he squinted to see who it was.

"Stay away from them," Sukuna hissed warningly. "Huh? Why? Surely they don't mean too much harm," (Y/n) said, still innocent and trusting as ever. Now that he's got a closer look, he slightly recognizes them. "It's fine Sukuna! It's that stranger I ran into that one night. He's friendly," (Y/n) informed, while trying to reassure Sukuna.

"Hm? Ah, if it isn't the spunky kid, a pleasure to meet you again," the stranger greeted with a pleased smile. His smile dropped to confusion as he noticed the second mouth on (Y/n)'s cheek. "And who might you be, little fella?" He asked the mouth curiously. "Shut the fuck up before I pull out your teeth and hand-feed them to you!" Sukuna hissed.

"Spicy fellah, huh?" The stranger chuckled, not at all threatened. "He's still pissed that I gave him a dildo for headwear," (Y/n) explained, covering the mouth on his cheek. "Right, the anemone from Azul. I saw what you did back there, didn't know you could use such powers," the stranger noted. "Uh... Yup! I totally did that all on my– Ow!!" (Y/n) exclaimed as something bit the hand that was still on his cheek. "Shut up, I did all that work, you foolishly believed that little shit could take us home," Sukuna snapped, angrily.

"Hey, it was a very valid thought process! You don't have to go biting me!" (Y/n) argued as he soothingly rubbed his hand. "I should've let you keep that stupid dildo on your forehead," he grumbled out. "Why you–" "I'm confused, that small mouth nearly killed Azul?" The stranger asked, interrupting their fight.

"We're not saying another word," Sukuna said, glaring at the stranger. "If you're afraid I'll report you, I won't. I'm just merely curious as to how a being like you could cause such destruction," the stranger assured with raised hands. "Pffth, he called you scared," (Y/n) chuckled in amusement. "I will kill this entire town and make you have a mental breakdown," Sukuna threatens (Y/n).

(Y/n)'s expression immediately went sour at the threat. "Yeah, I know," he mumbled as he looked down at the ground. "Well, I'll leave you both alone. I must head back to my dorm, farewell," the stranger said as he vanished. (Y/n) was silent for a moment, staring at nothing, before letting out a sigh.

"You're a big asshole, you know that?" (Y/n) grumbled as he continued walking. "So I've been told," Sukuna gruffenly replied. (Y/n) shook his head at the curse's replay as he entered the home, making his way to the bedroom. As he opened the door, he spotted one of his "friends" sleeping on his bed.

"I'm too tired to deal with this, I'll just sleep on the floor," (Y/n) thought, as he grabbed a spare blanket. But, before he could attempt to sleep on the floor, his feet stopped in their tracks and he stared at the mirror. Suddenly, (Y/n)'s mind went static, confusing Sukuna. "Oi brat," Sukuna said, trying to get through to him. Did the dumbass go brain-dead or something? Yet (Y/n) was not saying anything, only to continue to stare at the mirror. "(Y/n), you better not pull some stupid trick, answer me!" Sukuna snarled.
