As the morning sun filtered through the lace curtains, Meriya shivered, her dream still vivid in her mind. She could almost hear the haunting scream echoing in her ears and the unsettling sound of laughter that followed. Plagued by the images, she hurried downstairs to find her best friend Lacy already at the door, accompanied by Lara and George.

"Hey, Meriya! Are you ready for our day out?" Lacy chirped, a bright smile crossing her face.
"Um........, yeah, just give me a minute," Meriya mumbled, trying to shake off the remnants of her dream.
Lara and George exchanged knowing glances.

"Are you okay, Meriya?" George asked, concern lacing his voice

"Are you okay, Meriya?" George asked, concern lacing his voice.
"Yeah, just had a weird dream last night," Meriya admitted, the memory sending a chill down her spine.
Lacy wrapped her arm around Meriya's shoulder. "Well, let's go out and have some fun! It'll help take your mind off things."

As they sat in the car, Lacy turned up the radio, filling the air with music, and soon enough, laughter filled the car

As they sat in the car, Lacy turned up the radio, filling the air with music, and soon enough, laughter filled the car. George hummed along with the melody, while Lara's infectious laughter bubbled up.
Meriya felt the tension ease as she joined in the laughter, the events of her dream fading into the background as they drove off to enjoy the day.

"You still thinking about that dream, chica?" Lacy asked, concern lacing her voice.
Meriya nodded. "Yeah. It felt so real, like I was actually there."
Lacy patted her hand. "It's just a dream, Meriya. You've been under a lot of stress lately. It's messing with your head."
