Hi guys, welcome to my first ever story here. I have had this idea for a while and I finally decided to put it down. I hope you enjoy the story as it unfolds. I am also open to suggestions. With that being said, let's get to it.

"I'm sorry to interrupt sir, my name is Kim Seokjin. I'm the owner and Manager here. What seems to be the problem?" The man inquired. Jungkook was starstruck.

It took him a minute or two before he could answer the man. " The problem is I specifically ordered a strawberry cake for my husband and gave clear specifications that he was allergic to peanut but our cake had peanut in it!"  He shouted.

"Kook, it's okay, let it go. We can go to my favourite cafe to get cake. Let's not ruin our night, okay?" Tae who was quiet all along trying to recover from the allergic reaction finally spoke.

"No Tae, we can't just brush off a situation like this. What if I hadn't carried the EpiPen?" Jungkook exclaimed. Tae wanted the situation to end because for him, this day was too important and he wasn't going to let an allergic reaction ruin it.

Jungkook turned to the Manager. "Care to explain why this happened? I was on a call with one of your employees explaining exactly what I wanted. I repeated several times that peanut or peanut butter should not be used on the cake. How did this happen?" He inquired.

" I am really sorry for what happened today sir. We have always adhered to the requests and specifications of Customers. Give me a minute to figure out what went wrong. We would also like to pay for your meal today. We really apologize for the inconvenience. " Seokjin explained. Jungkook was really irritated but he couldn't  tell what irritated him more, the kind handsome stranger infront of him or the fact that his handsome husband almost died.

"Sir, its okay. I will still pay for the meal. I don't want to owe you anything. And please understand my husband's point if view. He was just worried." Tae interjected. He didn't like that their night had come to this, but most of all, he didn't like the way Jungkook was looking at the Manager.

" But Tae.....",

"That's enough Kook. I just want to go home please." Tae indicated. He wasn't looking at his husband anymore. And he also didn't want to get cake from his favourite cafe anymore. He wanted to go home, take a shower and forget the look he saw in Jungkook's eyes. Jungkook only ever gave him that look. It took two years for Jungkook to look at him like that. Yet here he was looking at a stranger in the same way.

The Manager had tried insisting that they don't have to pay for their meal. Taehyung insisted and paid regardless. The manager had then tried offering them a free meal on another day, Taehyung had turned them down yet again, much to his husband's dislike. It turns out that one of the workers had decorated the wrong cake for them.

On the way back home, Kook had noticed that his husband's mood had changed. He had decided to talk to him when they hot home. Later that night when they had showered and gotten into bed, Tae was deep in his thoughts when he was interrupted by Jungkook. "Baby, are you mad at me for shouting at them?" Kook asked.

Tae wasn't sure if he was reading into things too much, so he decided not to bring up what he had felt back at the restaurant. "No Kook, I'm just sad our night was ruined by my allergy. I'm sorry things didn't go as planned." He replied. "Tae, you know it's not your fault. Please don't blame yourself. The person at fault is the staff who decorated the wrong cake and their stupid Manager who clearly doesn't have competent staff. " Kook scowled. "I mean, how do you run a restaurant that big and famous and your staff still manage to mess up when it comes to someone's health?! Clearly looks and money aren't everything". Kook added. Hearing the last statement, Tae realised maybe he wasn't thinking too much into things. He still decided not to raise his concern. He hopped to never have to go to that restaurant again.

"I'm sorry I didn't get you a proper gift though. Well, I mean I did but it didn't get here on time, so you will still get it." Jungkook said hoping to improve Tae's mood seeing as it had soured again. " It's okay my love, having you here is all I ever wanted. You know that right? I really do love you Kook." Tae confessed. "I love you too Taetae. Don't ever doubt it. You fought so hard for us to get to where we are today. I promise to always fight for you as well love." Jungkook replied. He turned his body to face Tae who was on his right side and leaned in to give him a kiss. "Goodnight Taetae." Jungkook said once he broke the kiss. "Goodnight."

Tae had planned to make love to Jungkook after dinner, but right now he couldn't bring himself to initiate it. He needed to sleep it off.

The next few days were uneventful for the couple. Kook's anniversary present for Tae had arrived. He had bought Tae an art piece from on of his favourite artist based in France. Tae had squealed like a school girl when he saw it. All his doubts about Jungkook had disappeared soon after seeing Kook's present for him. He had stopped to doubt the present he had bought for Kook but then remembered that Jungkook had taken over his dad's business as the CEO while he worked at a tattoo parlour. Jungkook had always appreciated his gifts, even though Tae was not as rich.

On the other side, after the eventful night  Seokjin had gone home and told his four boyfriends about his day. They had comforted him and Yoongi had pointed out that the employee needs to be suspended for a while. Namjoon noticed that Seokjin seemed to be holding back and he raised the issue. "Jinnie, what else are you not telling us? You know you can tell us anything right?" Namjoon asked.

Seokjin kept quiet for a minute before stating, "Despite what happened today, I really want to see them again. I felt a connection with the guy who was defending his husband. The husband was also so handsome." Seokjin said. He was rubbing his hands together not knowing how his boyfriends would take that information. There were already five of them, why would they need to add onto that number? " We don't have to though. Plus I don't think they will like me after what happened today." He rushed to add.

Everyone was silently looking at each other before Yoongi spoke. "Well, the only way to have no regrets is to reach out to them. You won't know unless you try. Why don't you bake the cake they had requested for and send it to their address. You have to start somewhere sweetheart."
