Massi knocked on my door and asked if everything is okay. I couldn't speak for a moment because my voice was so shaky. As much as I love this job and want to do this, I couldn't. Something in me wasn't ready to take a step further until I learn to get my priorities right.
For a second, I froze and then I twitched on Massi's another call. I forgot he was standing in the front of my door.
"Everything okay, thanks!", somehow I spoke, trying to manage my voice and not letting it break. For a moment, I thought of getting up and going to Massi's office to quit, but then my mum came to my mind. She let me go this far away from my homeland so her daughter can be called a quitter? No way. I had this badass mindset and much worse mood swings. I know for as long as I'll try to quit, I'd never let anyone call me a loser or quitter. I need to success and no Norris is going to stop me from achieving my goal. I am thinking of this like I won't freak out as soon as I see him again, because the last thing we shared was a moment of an almost kiss and me not answering his date offer. I was down, but work won't do itself. I got up, washed my face and eyes, put a juice from my mini fridge on my face so I reduced puffiness and started working. From this moment, I was strictly professio-
"Ćemalović, Norris and Piastri are waiting on you. Massi said you'll need to do some shooting outside?", coworker busted into my office.
"I'm coming", I sighed and picked up my camera. When I came out of my office I saw him and Oscar waiting for me. I saw him.
Lando's point of view:
I saw her standing in front of me with her camera wrapped around my neck and she looked so beautiful. Even with puffed cheeks from crying. I exactly knew why she was crying. It was because I was stupid and I said some things I should not. Anyways, Oscar didn't know about that so we had to pretend like everything is okay, but she decided to ignore me.
„Hey. Let's make our way to the roof.", the words were so softly coming out of her mouth. Oscar bumped into me by his shoulder and I acted uninteresed. However, we came by the roof and started shooting. She was giving us some tips on how to and where to stand, which I enjoyed, but it looked like Oscar did too. Way too much more than he should.
Naida's point of view:
When we finished shooting, I decided to go for a coffee..There was a vending machine in front of Oscar's doors so it was pretty okay for me to go there and have some caffeine since I have to work for three extra hours editing these photos. Oscar came out the moment I approached the vending machine.
„You happy with the photos?", his strong Australian accent breezed my ears. He was a completely different person ahead of Lando.
„Yeah, they're good."
He mocked me and said „Yeah, they're good...what's wrong?
"Nothing, why'd you ask?"
"Naida, come on. I see you're not in the mood and hate seeing you like this."
Shit, since when is this man so flirty?
"It's nothing, I promise", I said peacefully, like it wasn't really anything. Unless that anything is Lando motherf*cking Norris.
Oscar came closer to my ear, which was kind of surprising but also a little bit awkward. "If you need anything, you know where to find me." God, this accent. As Oscar leaned over to my ear, I saw Lando standing behind. He saw Oscar and it won't end good. I saw fury in his eyes and his mouth making a pressed face. I knew it. Oscar's dead, 100%.
"Thanks, Piastri.", I said and moved away but it was too late. If I go chasing after Lando, it will be more than suspicious. If I stay here, I'll overthink this. I didn't know what to do. I headed back to my office and the working hours started to pass faster and I didn't overthink it that much because I was occupied with work. After four whole hours sitting by my PC, I saw that I'm the only one remaining in the building. Well, me and another one person. Except for that person was wearing papaya color shirt and had curly hair. I started packing my things and running towards the exit of the paddock. While I go through security at the exit, I hear footsteps behind and start walking faster so we won't suddenly confront eachother.
I headed back into my apartment and got a shower then dressed into a fully clean clothes. God, here is so hot and I can't manage to change my clothes every five minutes. But I did manage a lighter outfit for tomorrow. I literally couldn't wait to lay in bed because I was so tired, but then I hear knock on the f*cking door. I swear, it's always the door. I feel like I'm going to punch in the face anyone who's standing in front of them.
