that are seen from above
since I will never be near enough
just like your presence
loving the sun
but from a distance
since it hurts my eyes if i look closely
just like loving the moon
but will never land on it
truly i can love
anything from a distance
but it will never feel enough
looking through hurts me ever more
than not owing
that favorite shirt
from the store window
it hurts more
than ever being able to hold you
loving you from a distance view
hurts more than falling in love
truly i can fall in anything
but will never know what its like
since i can only experience
it through my eyes
