Trevor's POV

I open my eyes, and I groan when I realise that I still have a head ache, although now I feel a lot better than the last time that I woke up.

I sit up, and Carter immediately comes over to sit next to me.

"Where is Oden?" I ask, and I quickly remember what happened.

"He's in the cellars, he will have to stay there until the voting which will be in a few days." Carter tells me.

I wonder why my parents aren't here, because I'm pretty sure that they already heard about what happened.

I guess that they are busy right now, but I'm sure that they were here when I wasn't awake.

"Why isn't it today?" I ask him with a frown, it's not usually for Denver to make someone wait for the voting, usually they do it as soon as possible.

"Because Oden is a part of the family now, and we have to talk with each other to make sure that we will choose the right punishment for him.

To be honest, if he wasn't your mate, then he would have been dead by now, but we can't kill him without killing you.

So, after he will be able to walk out of the cellars, then we will have to give him a few guards, who will watch him constantly, to make sure that he won't kill anyone again." He tells me.

"What punishment will he most likely get?" I ask him, because I know that either his or Denver's idea will most likely win.

Denver is an Alpha and Carter was an Alpha too, so they get the best ideas, it's meant  to help them led the pack, but sometimes Alphas use it for wrong reasons like right now.

"Denver and I seemed to agree that we should cut the skin on his back, so that's most likely what will happen to him." He tells me, and my eyes widen.

"That will make him have a lot of scars. He might even bleed out!" I say angrily.

"He will be alright, he's a werewolf, and he can heal quickly, so you have nothing to worry about." Carter tells me, and I glare at him to let him know that I hate the idea of my mate being punished.

He smiles at me sympathetically, and I roll my eyes.

"Don't act like you're sorry, I know that you don't care at all." I tell him harshly.

"He deserves it, he killed a lot of kids who didn't do anything to him." He tells me.

"It wasn't him." I tell him firmly.

"It was him, we showed you the evidence." Carter says.

"I know that it wasn't him." I say. "What will he get for being falsely accused and punished for murder, when I will be able to prove that he didn't do anything?" I ask him, and he shrugs with a slightly amused smile.

"I guess that we will think about it if we will have to." He tells me with a shrug, and I roll my eyes.

"Then better start to think about it, because if he will actually get punished for this, then I won't forgive any of you until Oden will forgive you.

And I will make sure that this will be very hard for you to achieve." I tell him, and then I stand up, so I can leave the room.
