╰┈➤  You continued to follow Alastor along the town, even as he got his coat jacket re-fixed, as it seemed a piece of fabric had been torn from the bottom of the tail of the coat. you sat bored out of your mind, as watched him get his jacket fixed

you sat upon one of many chairs that had been laid out, and you rested your head on your knuckles waiting for Alastor to finish his business, that's when you soon realized, that he was not just here to fix his coat, as you could see from the TV's, and over the radio's that wasn't just a simple tailoring

you soon realized the CEO of the same place you just got fired from has some bad history with Alastor, and the more you heard the more you felt uneasy with Alastor. although you've known yourself in hell, not exactly a place where people are good, it still didn't make your nerves calm down.

you had questioned yourself if you had made the right decision of choosing to go along with Alastor, and even as this thought process through your brain, trying to wrap yourself in the fact you just chose to blindly follow a man who has a bloody history, really did set off the alarm bells

but it was too late because you had nowhere to go, you've been fired you now don't even have a job, and are probably being kicked out of your apartment if you went back, your only hope was an overlord with a bloody history

and as you were lost in thought, not noticing how Alastor towered over you, just watching you, like some type of entertainment, he was amused by your behavior, although that wasn't what caught his eye

it was your soul, it's a little too pure for a sinner, and as if the soul that was placed in your body did not quite fit, as if it had been misplaced, that's what about you that had caught his eye. he couldn't place his finger on what your soul was, but he knew he had to know, even if meet meddling a little in a pathetic life like you!

"Now dear, sorry for the wait, just had some..past mistakes to catch up on," he says knocking you out of thought, you look at him before standing up

"um yeah I heard, on the radio..." you said looking at him, Alastor simply let out a hum before grabbing your waist, you were quick to shoot him a glance of 'wtf are you doing'

he simply just smiled before speaking "Ah, do excuse the closeness but I much rather head to the hotel quickly" he said before black engulfed him and you, you closed your eyes, not knowing what to expect, and once you felt his grip loosen until he fully let go, then did you take a peak.

you opened one eye carefully before opening the other once you realized you were now situated on the floor, of what you assumed was the hotel Alastor had been talking about.

you looked down the stairs, you couldn't see too much considering that Alastor did block most of the view, but you did hear many voices, and one in particular stood out.

it was a female voice, a little bit more high-pitched but it seemed like she was showing someone around.

"Now come along, I'm sure Charlie will be thrilled to see a guest," he said looking back only for a slight glimpse of your figure before moving down the stairs, you followed along his footsteps, coming to a stop when he stopped right at the last step, you were stuck behind him and you took a small peak to see who the women's voice was

you caught a glimpse of blonde or white hair.

"and over here we have-" she suddenly stopped, now facing Alastor

"Oh, uh, Alastor, our gracious Facility Manger," the women said, as Alastor just stared and smiled

"you've met our newest guest-" Suddenly she stops. her eyes locking with yours, before you could even speak, Alastor was already talking.

"Ah, Charlie..it seems you already have a guest.." he said looking at the snake man. your eyes darted to Alastor before meeting the eyes of who you assume is Charlie seeing as that is what Alastor is calling her

"Well, it seems that I must introduce you to another guest who wants to stay here," he said before pushing you in front of him and making you face her.

you looked up at her about to explain yourself but when you finally looked at her facial expressions you could see stars in her eyes, she had been covering her mouth in excitement.

"omg, omg! we have another guest" she said before grabbing both of your hands

"it is so great you are here!! I'm Charlie, and as you can see I am the owner of this hotel omg, anyway I am so happy that you are here! I welcome you!!" she babbled on, basically vibrating with happiness

"babe calm down," you saw another female touch Charlie's shoulder in a comforting manner

"ah yes.." she looked back at you with a big smile, she let go of your hands

"I'm sorry for the outburst, I'm simply so happy that another person has joined us," she said softly

your tense form slowly relaxed at her comforting manner

"ah, it's fine... um I'm [y/n]" you said awkwardly, it was weird after being in hell for a few months you learned to get used to the violent and brash behavior of people so having a, more human interaction was weird but not fully unwelcome

Charlie just simply smiled more at your introduction.

"ah that's right I should introduce all of you guys!" she said clapping her hands together

"All alright, this is Sir Pentious one of our new guests, Alastor you do remember him.." Charlie said nervously, Alastor just smiled before speaking

"ah, yes. you're the one who ruined my coat." Alastor said leaning forward and readjusting his monocle

"I definitely remember you now.." his voice grew dark. your eyes widened, and you moved slightly away from Alastor, his tone sounding too sinisterly for your liking, it sent shivers down your spine.

Charlie and Sir Pentious both looked at each other nervously, charlie looked back at Alastor with a now nervous smile on her face

"Well, I guess this is a great time for your first lesson;" she turns to Sir Pentious for a moment

"how to apologize!" she says as she is teaching children, it felt awkward kinda being in the middle of this all

you watched as Sir Pentious tried to apologize, but it sounding more off than sincere, he handed Alastor what you assumed was a piece of his old coat, just to watch Alastor burn it right in front of him

Alastor turned to Charlie, before pushing you once again in front of her

"well I'll be off, take care of dear [y/n]!" he said before disappearing, you looked at Charlie with a nervous gaze, and you felt a bead of sweat drip down your forehead.

"um, do you have a room I can stay in? I need to change.." you said ready to change out of these baggy clothes, seeing as you no longer had to hide your body to prevent being brought into prostitution.

"ah yes! I'll show you that right away!" she said before showing you to a room
