Only You [Dino Seventeen Fanfic]

"Please don't pick up."

Their eyes lock and for a moment, Jang-mi forgets everything she had felt in the last two years. Dinos grip on her wrist slowly loosens as he watches her debate whether or not she should pick up. Her phone stops ringing and the silence between them grows.

"Chan-" notifications from Minjae begin flooding in. She looks down at her phone once more before he pulls her chin up to look at him.

"I don't wanna overstep." He rubs his thumb along her jaw.  "But there's something I need you to know."

"Is everything okay?"

"No." He shakes his head. "Which is why I need you to know."

"Chan, you can tell me anything." He rests his hands in hers before taking in a deep breath.

"I'm still in lo-"

"WE'RE BACK!" Changbin yells from the stairs, almost in a panic. He nudges Yeonjun, whose jaw was on the floor at this point.

"Erm- yeah. We're here." He says.

Dino immediately pulls away from her. "Uhm, you should probably call Minjae back."

"Chan-"

"It's okay." He fakes a smile. "He's probably worried. I can help them with the serum until you get back."

A bit confused, she just nods, grabbing her phone and walking up the stairs. As soon as she's out of sight, Yeonjun and Changbin run over and sit down beside him.

"Are you crazy dude!?" Changbin asks him. "You can't just confess to her like that!"

"I wasn't confessing anything." He rolls his eyes before reaching for the serum.

"I'm still in love with you..." he holds his fingers up as air quotes. "is a literal confession!"

"Whatever dude." He pats the spot in front of him for Yeonjun to scoot into. He begins applying the serum on his face. "Rub."

"I'm with Bin on this one Chan." He says while rubbing it in. Dino turns to Changbin and does the same. "What even is your plan? Tell Jang-mi, and then what?"

"I don't know!" He throws his head back, causing him to accidentally spill some of the serum on the floor. "Shit." He begins getting frustrated, trying to wipe it all up with the wash cloth.

"Alright!" Changbin shakes his head as he copied Yeonjun. "Lets just breathe for a minute."

He swiftly lays down on his back. His friends look at eachother before joining him. He shuts his eyes and lets out a deep breath.

"Talk to us Chan." Yeonjun says. "What's going on?"

"I don't know what's wrong with me." He states. "One day, I think I past it all, and the next, my heart is beating out of my chest. One moment, I'm absolutely happy for her, and then five minutes later, I don't wanna admit that she's happy with someone else."

Changbin looks at Yeonjun before sitting up. "You know what would cheer you up?" They both sit up and watch as he runs to the back. He immediately comes running back with the bag of food and sets it down in front of them.

"Uh, hello. Shouldn't we wait for Jang-mi?" Yeonjun taps his cheeks. "Plus, our skin care isn't done yet."

"You literally begged me upstairs to ask if we could start eating." He rolls his eyes.

"Real." Dino laughs. "I'll go check on her. You guys start."

They look into the bag once he starts getting up.
