I never really paid attention to which direction your eyes landed on.
I always assumed they would be locked with mine.
But every so often I would catch then sparkle.
As if you were in so in love.
My heart would flutter with the just the thought of you staring at me.
That we were so in sync, that I would never have to worry about your eyes betraying mine.
Until your sparkle failed to show.
Thought I could repair it.
But as I tried, I discovered they were beyond fixing.
Your direction was never in sync with mine.
But with another.
Mine were never the same.
I hated knowing your eyes could still wander.
I took from you what you took from me
Your ability to see.
