Dwight Pov
" Hey look, it's Saint Dwight! "
I let go of my hands from the gym equipment and landed on the ground, I rolled my eyes
when hearing my friend Austin's teasing voice behind me, and using the nickname that some people call me online
I grab my white towel and place it around behind my neck, wiping off my sweat
" What do you want? " I asked as he walked over to where I placed my stuff and put his bag in it.
He looked at me and chuckled, shaking his head. I furrowed my eyebrow in confusion as to why his acting like that
" What? "
" That's how women affect you huh? We heard that a girl talked right back at you today " Austin says and walks over to the gym machine, I can't help but not let out a groan
" Seriously? that again? I'm so fucking annoyed " I replied with frustration and start taking dumbbells
I huffed, standing a few meters away from the mirror, and start lifting the weights
" What's wrong with it? Can't lie, that's a fierce of her " he continues, and I didn't say anything.
That girl...
I have no idea who she is or what's her name, but it's my first time seeing her in Ateneo. Probably she's one of the transferres that I heard people talk about. But why it's my business?
" Her name is Stella Melania, if you want to know " Austin revealed and sending me a smirk.
I dropped the dumbbells onto the floor and gave him a death glare.
" Stop it, " I say while gritting my teeth.
He laughs and raises his hands in the air, surrending
Stella Melania, huh? I can check it out later
" By the way bro, do you want to go with us later tonight to a bar? Heard that there's lots of chicks there " Austin offers and smirks at me. And I think about it for a while, maybe a couple of drinks and girls.

When I arrived back at the house, it was already around 7 pm
I shut the taxi door and walked to the front gate of our house, as I carried my laptop in my arms, I used my other hand to knock on the gate
I waited for a few seconds and Lola Carmen opened the gate for me, I smiled and gave her a warm hug
" oh Iha, ikaw na pala yan. Kamusta ang iyong unang araw? " she asked
I pulled away from her embrace and smiled at her
" It went well, but nalang kasama ko si Diane buong klase " I respond and half of it was a lie.
Well? The first day of school was almost tiring, but also frustrating that I had to meet that guy, Dwight.
" Ah, mabuti naman. Halika na, pinag handa ko si Emy ng happen mo " Lola continued and gently placed her hand on my back, I walked inside our home and closed the gate. As I walk inside the living room
I saw Lolo sitting on the couch, playing a guitar in his hand. He looked up at me and smiled, kinuha ko ang kamay niya ay nag mano
" Pagod ka na ba nak? Pahinga kamuna bago ka kumain " Lolo says and I shake my head
" I'm alright, just a long day " I replied.
I spent minutes with Lolo in the living room as he talked about a new song he discovered that he could play with his guitar, after a while, I went back inside my room and shut the door behind me
Letting out a sigh, I place my laptop on my desk and put down my bag on the chair.
I lay down in my bed while still not changing my clothes, looking up at the empty ceiling and letting out a sigh. I reached for my phone and opened my Instagram account.
I was just scrolling down and looking at the posts from the people I follow until I saw James's face on someone's post
There was a new girl in his arms and they were both currently on a beach. I felt a twinge of pain come through my heart, and I looked at the girl's accounts, finding out that they were just beginning to date
" Babaero, amputa "
I let out a scoff, how can this guy have the audacity to message me, telling me that he misses me when he's dating a new girl right now?
I shut my phone and changed my clothes, heading back downstairs to the dining room where I began eating my dinner alone
Since Lolo and Lola were already asleep and Yaya Emy helping them upstairs, I got used to eating alone
The next morning me and Diane decided to go out together since we had no classes day.

Since it's hot today, I decided to wear my light brown top and white shorts, I paired it with my white tote bag and sandals. I put on my hair accessory and light makeup, and as I left my room I came down to the living room where I greeted Lola and Lolo
" Iha, san ka pupunta? " Lola Carmen asks as Yaya Emy watches TV with them
" Lalabas lang po kami ni Diane, pero di naman po ako magpapagabi " Sabi ko, napatingin naman sakin si lolo at ngumiti
" Ah ganun ba, kailangan mo ba ng budget iha? " He asks and plans to take out his wallet from his pocket, but I immediately shake my head and chuckle nervously
" Wag na po lo! Ayos lang, meron naman po ako dito eh " I explained.
The time I got inside the taxi, I slipped out my phone and messaged Diane na Palais na ako. She messaged me about a cafe in BGC and sakto dahil I need coffee in my system every morning
I turned off my phone and looked out into the window.
