Mario and Cappy: (Wake up aftertaste night and head into town)
Mario; Man. New Donk has not changed at all.
Resident: Hey, Mario! The mayor wants to see you!

Pauline: Hey... I want to thank you for what you did, Mario. If we were still together, I
Mario: Look, Pauline... I... I just... I just can't...
Pauline: ... I know... And I'm happy you moved on.
Mario: Thanks... So... how are things in town?
Pauline: Good. The festival is happening tonight... wanna join?
Mario: ... I can't. I've got to save my kid!
Pauline: Well... I could lend you some more power moons if you help me out with something!
Mario: What's up?
Pauline: I could use help with the power plant and find some backup performers.
Mario: Say no more! I'll find them lickity split!
Pauline: Oh! And take this! (Hands him a device) It will help you find power moons across the city.
Mario: Got it! (Turns it on, showing multiple power moon dots everywhere) Woah! (Sees one is not that far from them)
Mario: Cappy, let's go!
Cappy: I'm coming!
They run back up the stairs from earlier and head up using the electricity tower, and see a power moon on a metal beam and run for it, and grab it.
Mario: Wahoo!
Cappy: That's 4 moons!
Mario: (The device detects another moon between two girders) I'm gonna go for it!
Cappy: Okay!!!
Mario: (Heads to the girders and wall jumps to the moon) Wahoo!
They head back to city hall and go up all the way to the tower.
Mario: (Finds another moon on the top and gets it) Wahoo!
Then, the machine goes off again.
Mario; Nice! (Jumps to where the signal was going off) Alright... (Finds he's standing where the moon is and stomps the ground, making it appear) Wahoo!
Cappy: Alright!!! Just 13 left!!!
Mario: Yeah! Let's get back on the tower! It has the strongest reception for the device.
Cappy: Got it!
They get back up the tower and scan for more moons. Then, the device finds one on a far-off piece of land.
Mario: (Throws cappy at an electricity tower and follows the wire to the small chunk of land) Hm... It's in that machine. (Steps on it, and grabs the moon) Wahoo!
Cappy: 12 left!
Mario: Yep! (Detects another moon inside a girder and goes for it) Wahoo!
Cappy: 11!!!
They then find another, get to the tower, and jump to get it.
Mario and Cappy: Wahoo!!!
Mario: Only 10 left!
Cappy: Yeah!!!
They then found another in a pile of trash.
Mario: Wahoo!
