Every Element For Themselves

Each time a new savior comes, there will be a game to prove which element is powerful than the rest. It's like The Hunger Games but Venuvia calls it The B.O.E. or Battle of the Elements. It's for fun and testing their student. It's simple: you have to fight off the other elements using their own. An example would be Narina sending giant snowman after Bryan. If he wins, he stays for another round. But if he loses, eliminated. If cheated with help from trainer, eliminated. Rules of the game are easy to follow:

1. Eliminations
-help/cheating
-losing match
2. Winning
-most matches won
-last element standing
3. Injuries caused will not reflect on scores
4. Fight hard and have fun
5. Prize
-new element power unlocked
-crowned until next game battle
6. Good luck!

After training, everyone returned to Earth. During the training secessions, they were all informed about The B.O.E. and the rules. It was in two days (Tuesday). They've grown stronger and in great control of the glitch. But for now until the glitch strikes back, like a girl's menstrual cycle (yes tmi but...).

Tuesday came quickly and they all woke up at 8 am in the morning, just to go to Pluto. At least it has good use for an ex-planet.

"Welcome to The Battle of the Elements. Here you will be tested to prove your worth. There will be three of these. The last one will determine who will be the ruler of the universe. But I hope you looked over the rules, correct?"

"Yes." They all said in agreement.

"Excellent. Now the element teachers will join me and watch you all. Good luck and have fun!" Venuvia moved away from the microphone and transported her friends alongside of her. "Let's begin. Narina vs. Bryan." Narina and Bryan stood in the middle of the arena while the rest sat on benches. "Narina, go first." After a moment of silence, she finally had an idea: ice bolts or lightning bolts made of ice but without the electricity. They shot out from her hands and made their towards Bryan whom dodged them. Narina threw some more and Bryan made a block of dirt in front of him. The bolts melted into water as he telepathically pushed it towards her. She laid flat under a pile of dirt that then vanished. "One point for Bryan, zero for Narina. Next up is Bryan vs. Victoria. Narina, you are dismissed," Venuvia announced as Narina and Victoria switched places.

Only three out out of seven lived through this- Lexi, Tracey, and Alice. The scores for everyone overall was:

Alice- 4
Bryan- 1
Lexi- 4
Narina- 0
Rover- 2
Tracey- 3
Victoria- 1

"Whoever wins this match will be moving on to the Death Match. Lexi vs. Alice. Tracey, bench please." Lexi and Alice stared at each other in sadness and shock. "Good luck, you guys!" Rover shouted from about six feet. They smiled slightly at Rover and then back at each other. Lexi started with a firenado that swirled towards Alice. She jumped to the side as a fireball from Lexi passed by her, burning the tip of her suit sleeve. Alice then created a glob of water that splashed onto the firenado. Just when Lexi was about to throw some more fireballs, Alice had already made a giant whirlpool of water coming from around the arena, surrounding Lexi as it was rushing in closer. But Lexi surrounded herself with a fire circle that burned off the crashing waves. "Lexi five, Alice benched. Lexi and Tracey have entered... the Death Match. This is it, girls. Begin."

Oh boy. Tracey knows all about each element and can possibly know every move I'll make. But I'll outrun her, Lexi thought.

I'm sorry that it has to come to this, Lexi, but you are going to die but not literally, Tracey thought.

"Shake hands, turn away, and take ten steps forward. Once you hit ten, fight!"

And so they did as she said. But Lexi stopped at six, turned around and fired a fireball to Tracey's empty sides. It is officially on! Tracey gathered every element into a ball in her hands but interrupted before throwing it.

"You can only use the element you have. Tracey, you may have learned the others, but you can't use them in the arena. Continue."

The ball disappeared just when Lexi made a whirlpool of fire and leviated from the ground as she stepped into it and making her way towards Tracey. Tracey waited until it got close enough to disappear into a portal and bring her back. When the moment was right, the portal appeared, but Lexi avoided it and captured Tracey into the swirly cone of fire. It then vanished in the arena, leaving Lexi as the winner and Tracey weakened. "And Lexi wins Round One! Be prepared for Round Two next year. Lexi, step forward please." Lexi felt nervous about what was going to happen next.

"Lexi, you are crowned Destroyer of Elements and unlocked a new power hidden in your element. You have received the lava power. Now not only will you use fire but you can also do lava. Congratulations!" Venuvia proudly said as she placed the crown onto Lexi's head and transported the lava power to her.

Returning to Venus, they all celebrated Lexi's victory with a little party. Even she got to try out the power and the party got cancelled early after 40 minutes of fun. Who knew she had complete control of the Sun after the glitch. Sadly and unfortunately, Lexi had to stay behind to practice while her friends transported back to Earth. This is summer boot camp all over again! she complained. But it was a good thing because of more time with Queen Venuvia. Not so bad after all. Practice makes perfect! She smiled to the thought and went to see Venuvia.
