The ownership of the villa belonged to Hank Pym, and even Clark himself was just staying there temporarily, having no right to invite others to live there without permission.

However, with Mindy now alone and without support, Clark naturally couldn't abandon her.

In fact, he had already decided during Marcus's funeral that if Hank Pym did not agree to let Mindy stay, he would move out of the villa with Mindy. The house he owned before hadn't been sold yet, so they wouldn't be homeless.

As it turned out, his concerns were unnecessary. Hank Pym was very pleased to hear that Mindy would be moving in, not only agreeing immediately but also boasting extensively about his own greatness, asking Mindy if she would like him to be her guardian.

Seeing the old man's eagerness, it seemed like he was ready to compete with Clark.

Mindy politely expressed her sincere thanks to Hank Pym and then tactfully declined his offer to become her guardian.

The girl's words were so graciously put that no one could find fault with them.

However, to the two cunning men, Hank Pym and Clark, her words stirred some discomfort.

Mindy was only eleven years old, a time when most children would be enjoying a carefree childhood. Yet, Mindy's childhood was burdened with too much responsibility, making her mature faster than her peers. To Clark and Hank Pym, this was a tragedy.

After settling Mindy in, Hank Pym's smile faded, and he became serious: "I've gone through the information you brought back while you were at the funeral. The situation is quite grave."

"Oh?" Clark asked calmly, "Is their power that extensive?"

"Very extensive," Hank Pym replied. "The Hand originated in Japan as an assassin organization, primarily consisting of ninjas skilled in assassination. There are five leaders, known as the Five Fingers."

"Each of them possesses extremely formidable power, and we have only encountered three of them so far."

Clark's brows furrowed, "So, there are two more as powerful as Madame Gao that we haven't seen yet?"

"Correct!"

As they returned to the living room, Hank Pym sat down on the sofa, rubbing his temples, "However, according to the documents, the Hand's headquarters is still in Japan. The force in New York has only been developing in recent years. Normally, it's unlikely all five Fingers would be here."

"Even the three we encountered were probably here specifically to deal with you, and it's possible that only one Finger is normally stationed in New York."

While listening to Hank Pym, Clark took out two bottles of juice from the refrigerator, opened them, and handed one to Hank Pym, taking a sip from the other.

After hearing Hank Pym's analysis, Clark sat down and said, "So, we must act quickly before the remaining two Fingers possibly take action?"

"No!" Hank Pym took a sip of his juice, "Both sides have suffered injuries, especially Daredevil and Punisher. It's not wise to act rashly. My advice is to recuperate and wait until Yi Long returns before making a move."

Clark was surprised, "Yi Long? Isn't he supposed to be with his family in China, planning to stay there for a long time? Is he coming back so soon, planning to immigrate with his whole family?"

Hank Pym drank his juice before explaining, "His wife has remarried, to a university professor who was also his son's tutor. The professor is successful, wealthy, and beneficial for his son's future development. It's a done deal."

Sighing, Hank Pym continued, "Yi Long is now left with nothing. After secretly watching his wife and child from afar, he silently left. Ah, it's a sad story..."

Clark frowned, "How did this happen? The information I had didn't say anything like this."

Hank Pym looked at the confused Clark and said gravely, "Things are always changing. How can you be so rigid in your thinking at such a young age?"

"The professor had been pursuing Yi Long's ex-wife for a long time but didn't feel worthy until his research papers, which had not been accepted for publication before, were suddenly published by several major journals two months ago. He was promoted to full professor, and the rest is history."

Clark realized Hank Pym was behind these manipulations.

Setting down his juice, Clark asked, "Aren't you afraid Yi Long will come after you when he finds out?"

"What reason would he have?" Hank Pym claimed innocence, "His wife and child were taken care of by someone else for years, the professor's feelings for his wife were genuine, and with Yi Long declared missing for years, his marriage isn't protected by law anymore. What's wrong with them getting married?"

Hank Pym shrugged, "I just secretly helped the professor a bit, how does that involve me?"

Clark was astounded by Hank Pym's explanation, finding himself unable to argue.

After thinking for a moment, Clark shook his head, "As you said, I think Yi Long might renounce the world and become a monk. Your calculations might have been for naught."

"You're too young," Hank Pym said, sipping his juice, "Even if he goes back to Shaolin, the abbot will say he hasn't resolved his worldly ties."

"Why?"

"Because I donated 5 million dollars to the temple."

As they talked, Hank Pym's smile became more mischievous, casually bringing the bottle to his lips, then suddenly shaking, letting the glass bottle fall and shatter, spilling juice everywhere.

Clark was startled.

Looking closely, he saw Hank Pym had closed his eyes and collapsed onto the sofa!
