"Woah Cana! Look at these clothes!" Faith exclaimed excitedly as she showed the dress to the girl with a bright smile. Cana just shook her head with a chuckle.
It's the first day of the yearly Harvest Festival in Magnolia, which is hosted by Fairy Tail. The two were invited to look around with Natsu and the others, though they kindly declined as they went to get ready for the infamous Miss Fairy Tail Competition. Though they finished earlier than expected so Cana and Faith decided to look around the town.
"Wait! I think I see a shaved ice stall. Want to go get some?" the semi brunette questioned the card mage.
"I don't see the harm," she replied, both of the grinning at each other before lining up.
"Faith, Cana, long time no see," a male voice greeted, making the two turn around.
Faith smiled, seeing the familiar telepathy mage of Fairy Tail.
"Warren, how are you?" Cana greeted with a small smirk as the said man grinned back at the two.
"Good, just finished a job so I quickly made it back just in time for the festival," he replied as Faith briefly went to tell the food stall their order. "I saw Gray and the others not long ago. You aren't joining them?"
"We were busy getting ready for the Miss Fairy Tail competition though we had time to spare so.." Faith explained before motioning to the shaved ice that she and Cana received.
"Ah... I see, no wonder the two of you are dressed up. Good luck," Warren said with a wave as the other two said their goodbyes back.
After the two finished having their shaved ice, Cana looked at the time on her lacrima, her eyes widening as she grabbed Faith's wrist and started darting towards the Fairy Tail guild.
"Cana why are we running?!" Faith questioned, confused.
"It's almost time for the contest! We're going to be late otherwise!" Cana responded, making the gravity mage gasp in panic as she ran alongside Cana.

Luckily, the two of them made it in time backstage and fixed their outfits and hair.
"I'm up first, see you later Faith," Cana said with a small wave, the girl nodding in understanding before she went on stage.
Faith looked around backstage before her eyes set on Erza, a small smirk coming across her face.
"Ready to lose again Titiana?" she challenged the scarlet haired woman, who turned around to the girl, wearing a similar smirk.
"I should be asking you that question," she responded confidently as they had a small stare down.
Ever since Faith has joined Fairy Tail, the two tended to have a rivalry during the Miss Fairy Tail Contest. Faith won last years as Erza won the one before. They were hoping this year was the tie breaker.
They both gave each other a firm handshake before they decided to look at the other peoples performances, catching Lucy doing so already.
Faith and Erza both went to look over Lucy without her knowing.
"A swimsuit?! That's not fair!" Lucy complained to herself when Cana switched into a bikini.
"Clever. Why didn't I think of that?" Erza questioned herself, taking notes, startling Lucy.
"Whoo! Go Cana!" Faith cheered suddenly, making Lucy shriek at both of the S-Class mages.
"Faith?! Erza?! You guys are competing?!" the blonde questioned in disbelief.

"Whenever there's a competition, the two of us can't help but compete," Erza stated, the brunette nodding along to her.
"Well there goes my rent money..." Lucy sulked.
Faith sweat dropped before turning back to look at the other contestants, cheering them on until Erza's turn.
"G-Goth Lolli?!" Lucy sputtered out once she saw the red hair girl requip into an all black school type of girl outfit, causing Faith to burst out laughing.
"Entry number six! She's infamous for causing quite a ruckus in this competition for the past two years, introducing Fairy Tail's Gravity Luminary, Faith Kaletski!" Max announced after Levy left the stage.
The said girls eyes widened as she temporarily forgot that she was also competing before turning to the blonde next to her with an enthusiastic smile.
"Well that's my cue! Good luck Lucy!" she cheered with a small smirk, the celestial mage silently sulking to herself.
A green magic circle then appeared on the stage, producing a swirl of gravity that covered the stage. Cheers erupted from the crowd when the magic dispersed and saw the familiar semi brunette on the stage wearing a white and blue flowy two piece, her hair down as she gave the audience a smile. She did a small twirl, showing off her outfit which made the cheers get louder as she threw some petals in the air, using her magic to make nice patterns with it before it surrounded her.
The petals then got directed to go above her. She gave a small smirk before she used her gravity cutting fury to cut the petals in to smaller bits, creating a pleasing confetti as it fell nicely across the guild.
She bowed as whistles and cheers were heard all around the guild, giving everyone a smile and wave before she walked back behind the curtains.
"Faith! You did so good!" she heard Cana say as she felt an arm go around her shoulder.
She looked back and saw Cana and Juvia giving her a smile.
"You guys did amazing as well, the competition is tough this year," Faith complimented the two, Juvia looking slightly flustered than the other.
"Juvia was so nervous the whole time she performed!" the blue hair girl admitted bashfully while Cana and Faith looked at each other with a knowing smile before assuring the girl that she did great.
The three of them continued to converse in order to pass time before all of the contestants also decided to join the conversation, creating one big group.
"Honestly the competition is tough, I'm not sure who will win this year," Levy stated, the other girls agreeing before they heard another voice intervene.
"If anyone is going to win Miss Fairytail, it's going to me!" the feminine voice said confidently, gaining all of the girls' attention as they all turned to the person.
Faith soon realised her mistake, her eyes wide when she found herself making eye contact with a grinning Evergreen, one of Laxus' teammates, her eyes exposed.
A gasp escaped her mouth before she got turned into stone.

"I CAN NOT BELIEVE I GOT PLAYED BY EVERGREEN! EVERGREEN OUT OF ALL PEOPLE! THAT PIXIE DUST GIRL!" Faith ranted in utter frustration after getting released from stone as everyone standing in the guild sweat-dropped.
After Erza finished off Evergreen, all of the girls got released from stone as Makarov, Natsu, Gajeel, and Happy. Faith was beyond pissed at the information. Not just because she got turned into stone, but about Laxus' harmful game.
