It's been 3 hours since Taashi told him she was breaking off with Soha over a text, and his response was "Please text me when you are in your senses and calm down, I am busy with my project right now". She was even more furious after reading his reply. She said to herself "This is what I get after telling him I don't want to be with him anymore, he did not even call me wtf is wrong with him" She kept checking her mobile thinking he would text her again and he should after what she told him It's been a rough couple of months for them, being in a relationship is not easy when you have not seen each other for over a year.
Distance sure tests your "commitment" "trust" and "faithfulness". Distance is best defined as the amount of space between two objects. Everyone knows this. But a few are aware that distance also brings its evil cousin Distant along with it Lately she was feeling Distant from him, she felt no matter how much she tried to make things work between them, it was all falling apart.
She started to feel she was being pushed far back in his priority list. And was not in the top ten even. She had her reasons to feel that way. Her phone beeped she instantly picked it hoping it was from him but, it was not it's been almost ten hours since his text. She repeatedly told herself he would text or call after all he is your boyfriend. ... She was bluffing earlier about the breakup.
She loves him, it was just a little attention-seeking act, which went wrong. She picked up her cell to text him when she was hit with an Epiphany, she knew it somewhere in her heart but never acknowledged that she was watering dead plants, and her heart sank when she saw he was online.......
Taashi couldn't shake off the sinking feeling that enveloped her as she gazed at the online status. The revelation struck her like a lightning bolt—she had been desperately tending to a love that had long lost its vitality, much like watering dead plants. The weight of unspoken words and misunderstood intentions pressed down on her, leaving her with an overwhelming sense of regret.
As the hours passed, the digital clock on her phone ticked away, each second echoing the lingering silence between them. She grappled with conflicting emotions, torn between the desire for connection and the harsh reality of their strained relationship.
With a deep breath, she mustered the courage to confront the truth. Love wasn't always enough to bridge the chasm created by distance and misunderstandings. The online world, which had once been a source of comfort, now felt like a cold and distant realm.
The realization settled in—an acknowledgement that she couldn't continue pretending. It was time to have an honest conversation, to address the cracks that had formed in the foundation of their relationship. The decision to break up had been impulsive, a misguided attempt to seek attention, but now it had evolved into an opportunity for a more profound self-discovery.
Taashi picked up her phone once more, not to text this time, but to make a genuine call. Whether the outcome would be reconciliation or closure, she was determined to face it head-on. The journey of understanding, healing, and finding clarity had just begun.
