Eric woke up the next day when the sun was up, his mouth was dry and he had a headache, he walked back to the camp. When he got there he found several naked people lying on the floor surrounded by bottles, and he thought to himself that death released the animalistic side of people, feeding lust in an attempt to deceive sadness.
Luke was naked on the floor with his arms around the twins with who he had disappeared the night before, Wolf was found with a bottle in his hand and an ebony woman at his side, the rest of the members seemed to have had a similar fate. Manson appeared with a metal cup full of coffee and offered it to Eric.
"What happened?"
"Well, things got out of control, people drank too much and needed to relieve their souls."
"With an orgy at a funeral?"
"It's always better than tears, and Meg wouldn't mind, she also liked to ease her soul with someone's body. And what better way to honor someone than to do something we've yearned for a lifetime?" Manson lit a cigarette and Eric felt disgusted, but he sipped his coffee and said nothing, Manson put his arm around him. "Come, Ray wants to see you."
They entered the center tent and found Ray alone on the throne, his guard dog at his feet.
" Great, I'm glad you're here."
"What can we do for you?" Eric took another sip of the coffee.
"I need you to go back to Los Angeles and deliver this to Catalina." Ray showed a hard drive that looked like Pandora's Box.
"I thought you were going to keep it."
"Yes, but Catalina offered three million dollars for this."
"That is a lot of money."
"Yes, but this is a copy, it only contains the information about her and Vlad. She doesn't need more than that."
"So you're going to deceive her?"
"Yes, if she had all the information contained in Pandora's Box, we would just be exchanging one demon for another. I want you and Manson to go to her mansion, deliver the hard drive and collect the money. Then we'll use the money to finance our war against Vlad."
Eric tried to speak but Manson cut him off, and approached Ray.
"Of course, Ray, we can do that. When do you want us to leave?"
"Now, I want this problem to be solved as soon as possible."
"We're going now." Manson nodded and Ray handed Eric the hard drive which he put inside his backpack, Manson pulled Eric by his coat and they walked out of the central tent until they reached their motorcycles, Eric turned to Manson.
"So this was Ray's plan. Making money off what we steal, that never had anything to do with Meg."
"Listen, Eric, I warned you, Ray always has something else on his mind. He loved his daughter, you can trust me on that. But like I told you, this has always been about power. Now let's go."
They sat on their motorcycles and cranked the key making the engines roar, they left the campsite behind and drove towards their destination in Los Angeles.
It was already dark when they stopped in front of the gate of Catalina's mansion. Manson grabbed a heavy black gym bag and walked to the gates.
"What do you have in there?"
"Our life insurance."
The guards opened the gates and let them in. Eric and Manson walked inside the mansion, where they were received by Mariska who took them to Catalina's room. She was standing by the window while drinking a glass of champagne, on the table there was a laptop and black candles were burning, casting shadows in the room. Eric approached her and she turned to him revealing a devilish smile.
