CH 5| "Not lonely anymore"

It has been a week since Yeonjun fought with Soobin's bullies and he made Soobin join his friend group because he was so shy.

"I'm glad that they got expelled," Taehyun said, taking a bite of his apple.

"Periott, well deserved," Hueningkai added.

"I heard Soobin hyung saying Yeonjun hyung looked so cool!" Beomgyu teased, blush appeared on Soobin's cheeks.

"That's because hyung is cool." Soobin didn't deny it, he took a bite out of his sandwich.

Yeonjun looked at Soobin with his iconic smirk.

"Next weekend we should go to the water park, I heard it's finally opened!" Hueningkai suggested, since summer had already started and they also had finished exams.

They all agreed, this weekend they have been wanting to take a break of summer and have some fun. 

Yeonjun had been wanting to hang out with  his new friends for a long time, but for now he was going to take Soobin out to a local ice cream shop when school ends. Yeonjun was going to wait for the taller one to arrive at the gate.

They all went back to class and started their lessons. Yeonjun hated his next class which was history because they left so many projects and assignments. It was his first week and there was one project and two assignments already. 

When Yeonjun's class finally ended he walked out and waited by the gate.

Walking out the entrance was an exhausted Soobin, he ran catching up to his hyung.

They both walked together, talking and laughing till they reached a nearby ice cream shop, Yeonjun's arm wrapped around Soobin's as he suggested to stop by.

Reaching at the location, they both looked at what ice cream they were going to get. "What's your favorite ice cream flavor?" Yeonjun asked while searching for mint choco.

"I love chocolate" Soobin said while ordering his.

Yeonjun looked at the ice cream he's gonna pick, "And I love Mint Chocolate." He began to order his ice cream while— Soobin gaved him a 'I am disgusted' look. "Hyung, why would you like that, it's toothpaste!" Soobin stared at the ice cream worker scooping up Yeonjun's ice cream.

"No it's not, toothpaste is not mint!" Yeonjun protested looking at Soobin who got his chocolate one.

After receiving the ice creams, Yeonjun paid for both orders. They sat down at a spot for two people near the window. "Soobin, why haven't you told anyone about that situation?" The older male asked.

Soobin knew what he was referring to. "I was scared, I didn't want my parents to know, I mean look at how I am with my anxiety. I'm just really ashamed of myself." He poured out his feelings while he was almost finishing his ice cream.

"You don't have to worry about them anymore since you have us." Yeonjun reassured the younger male.

Soobin really wanted to blush. He hurriedly ate his last bite hoping it cooled his beating heart.  

After talking and Yeonjun cheering Soobin up, Yeonjun called his personal driver to pick them up and drop them to their houses.

Soobin's mother had noticed a difference in Soobin, like how he would come back looking more happy and noticed he wouldn't spend late nights on homework.

After coming home from school and hanging out with the older male.
Soobin finished his homework then laid on his bed. He looked at the calendar waiting for it to turn to Saturday.

After a brief moment of resting, he heard his mother calling him out for dinner.

"So mind telling us what you're thinking about Soobin?" Soobin's mother asked, serving her husband's dinner.

Soobin looked at his mother and sat down, "I'm going out this weekend." He smiled.

Soobin's dad soon interrupted, "Why didn't you tell us that you were being bullied, Soobin? we would've done something." Soobin looked at his father with a frown.

"Because I didn't want to look weak."

Soobin's mom then asked. "What about the kid who saved you?. Did he get suspended?"

Soobin shook his head, "No, he didn't, but he did become my friend."

"No wonder mom looks at you differently," Soobin's noona teased.

Soobin's mom just looked away from Soobin. "How about you invite him over, we would like to get to know him,'' She offered.

"Okay, right after hanging out, I'll invite him." Soobin decided, hoping that the older would want to accept the offer.

After finishing dinner, he went to his room and got his phone that was laying on the bed. He saw a notification from his hyung. Soobin started to apologize for the problem he got the older in, but the older would invite Soobin to hang out instead.
