Chapter 87: Our Reality

Song Qinglan originally wanted Ji Yushi to suggest something.
But Ji Yushi originally wasn’t someone who went out often so his level of understanding of places to go in Ning City was about the same as Song Qinglan’s and he couldn’t really recommend anything. After the two discussed a few options, Ji Yushi even felt that staying at home may be the better way to pass their vacation.

“This is a date.” Song Qinglan persuaded him, “Since it’s a date, staying at home the whole time won’t do. When I return to the squad later, I still want to share with those single dogs our romantic experiences. This will motivate them to escape singlehood.”
This reason was spoken very righteously, leaving Ji Yushi with a rare, confused expression, “But I really don’t know where to go. Have lunch, watch a movie and walk around in the park?”
The classic date routine?

Song Qinglan pulled him up from the carpet, “Go to the amusement park.”
Ji Yushi’s eyes widened, “Amusement park?!”
Song Qinglan turned him around and pushed him into the room. As he made him stand in front of the closet, he said, “Yes, the amusement park.”

The amusement park. A must have destination for school-aged straight men to bring their dates.
Ji Yushi didn’t expect Song Qinglan to suggest this and just felt that this level of childishness didn’t go well with the other person’s personality. He could only tell himself that the other party was still a child at heart.
To be a qualified boyfriend, Ji Yushi silently accepted this proposal.

The two changed and got ready to leave.
In order to make himself look less incompatible with a place like the amusement park, Ji Yushi kept the simple T-shirt he wore in the morning and only changed his shorts to jeans and paired it with a pair of sneakers. With his slender figure and straight back, this way of dressing failed to make him look ordinary and conversely made him look like an eye-catching top student.
The clothes Song Qinglan wore the day before had already been washed and dried and they weren’t very formal clothes so they sufficed.

The two stood in the elevator. It was only when they saw each other in the mirror that they finally felt that they were going out for a date.

Song Qinglan looked at him through the mirror, “How would it be strange? Adults have no right to seek thrill and relax?”
Ji Yushi, “…….”
Song Qinglan continued to look at the Ji Yushi reflected in the mirror. He tilted his head and said to him, “You can pretend that I am still a child.”
“If you can change to your appearance in Chaos, I can try but 1.92 metres….” Ji Yushi commented calmly, “What a big kid.”

Because of his small size, the sleeves were dragged across the floor and he wore a pair of short boots several sizes too large for him as he tried to keep up with him with Shen Mian in his arms.

Reaching the parking lot, Song Qinglan took the initiative to be the driver, but even with his height advantage, he couldn’t find the black off-road car anywhere.
Ji Yushi stepped forward and unlocked a car nearby, “Here.”

This car was quite retro and elegant in shape. It was a car from the 80’s or 90’s, completely different from the domineering car Song Qinglan saw last time. They were practically on two extremes.

Song Qinglan circled the car with interest, “Where is the car from last time?”

Ji Yushi’s gun and car all matched well with the image he gave off.
He sure does like retro things.

“Don’t have it. My car has always been this one in reality but the bubble world made a different choice for me.” Ji Yushi threw the keys at him, “Do you want to drive? Manual with no automatic function. It’s laborious but enjoyable.”
“Drive!” Song Qinglan was very willing to be the driver. He caught the key and sat in the car.
