‼️ BLOOD AND IMPLIED GRAPHIC VIOLENCE WARNING ‼️
Husk has a dark nightmare and Angel Dust comforts him, if u wanna skip the nightmare part (that has what the warnings mention) you can scroll until u see these "~~~~~~"
Husk gets up from his knees and looks around. Though, there really wasn't anything to look around at. It was all just darkness. Black from every corner, every dimension, except for Husk. He was the only thing there with color. He shivered, but not because he was cold.
"Where the hell am I? Alastor?" He called out into the darkness as if Alastor could hear or see him. Truth is, he didn't see Alastor anywhere but when you wake up in an unknown place that doesn't look like hell, you immediately put blame on the one who owns your soul.
He got no response. He was by himself. He sighed, about to sit down until he spotted something red in the distance. It wasn't hard to spot, in all of the black. But he felt as if it wasn't there before. He walked towards it. The closer he got, the more the red had increased until it wasn't just a splatter anymore. It was a full on trail. Not to mention the smell, Husk knew that smell all too well.
Thanks to his cat-enhanced smell Husk always smelt Angel Dust's blood on him when he'd get home from work. Husk had memorized the smell of his blood, and he froze in his steps. He didn't want what his thoughts were telling him to be true. And he didn't know whether he wanted to find out to confirm.
Husk turned around and ran the other direction as panic seethed through him. And the panic didn't stop when he ran into a pair of glowing red dial eyes and a yellow sharp toothy smile. He froze again. His breathing picked up.
"Husker! Where are you going old chum? Don't tell me you're afraid," Alastor chimed, his smile growing wider as he saw Husk gulp.
"Uh, no I," Husk sputtered out as the scenery changed. They were in Alastor's radio tower, though it looked more...deformed.
"I'll say, you want to know what happened to Angel Dust..." Alastor spoke condescendingly as he walked a circle around Husk. Husk started smoothing out the fur on his left arm as a distraction.
Alastor stopped behind him as he leaned close against his ear and whispered in a tone that was almost akin to laughing, "...but you already know what happened to him, don't you, Husker?"
Husk shuddered as his throat closed up and burned. 'No, you fucking bastard I know you didn't-'
"Let's listen to the radio, shall we?" Alastor exclaimed joyfully as his fingers turned the dial on said radio.
Instead of a talk show or music playing, the sound of Angel's guttered screams echoed through the air. Alastor never broke eye contact with the feline as Husk wanted to look anywhere but.
The song of Angel's sobs, yells, and grunts as his soul was getting painfully ripped apart. Husk leaned his back against the wall, sliding down as he sat on the floor, still staring at the Radio Demon as the screams didn't stop. Husk could hear the anguish, terror, and vulnerability in his voice. All he could do was imagine what his boyfriend's expression was.
Alastor finally broke eye contact with Husk by looking at the ground in front of him, his yellow smile never wavering. Husk, getting the motion looked down at the ground. He wanted to scream himself, as he saw Angel's body. He didn't have any six of his arms though, and his eyes were covered. His whole body was covered in blood.
"You're fucking enjoying this aren't you?!" He raised his voice as Alastor laughed. He took the green chain around Husk's neck and pulled him closer to Angel's lifeless body.
"Of course I am! You should already know not to cross me. And now, look at what you did." He spoke as his body became more deformed, limbs and antlers extending as his radio face grew with intensity. He towered over a trembling Husk.
Angel's screams seemed to have gotten louder and more agonizing. The room seemed to fall on him as Alastor spoke once more, "This should be a lesson to you. Don't fuck with the one that owns your soul or you'll lose something oh so dear to you!"
His voice had more radio static as his voice pierced through Husk's ears. He didn't dare look away. He didn't dare flinch. He didn't dare move. He failed to protect the one he loved and now this was his punishment. He talked back to someone he shouldn't have and this was the price.
"Now, did you know that spider legs taste good fried?"

Husk woke up in a cold sweat. He sat up, his eyes dashing around to see his surroundings, only to find that he was in Angel Dust's room. Not a radio tower. Not in darkness. It was a dream. A nightmare, that's all. Then why the hell did it feel so real?
He looked next to him to see his angel sleep peacefully with Fat Nuggets in his arms. Arms. Husk counted four. The other two probably tucked away, as per usual. With a slightly trembled hand, he reached over and checked his sleeping beauty's pulse. His heart beat. He was breathing. He was alive.
Husk breathed a sigh of relief, but that relief had lasted for a couple of seconds. Before being replaced with a newfound fear.
What if that dream had been real? What if that dream was a warning for what's actually to come? He knew Alastor was one hundred percent capable of doing something like this, so what was stopping him? What was stopping Alastor from snatching away the one thing he held dear to himself? He couldn't bear that. He couldn't handle that happening, it would break him. No amount of alcohol would help. What if one day he just woke up and Angel was no longer by his side?
Angel Dust was awoken by shaking on his bed. Like, his bed was shaking. Were they having an earthquake? Did hell even have earthquakes? He reached his arms out to Husk, with his eyes closed, but found nothing. He opened his eyes, and said, "Husk?"
He didn't get a response and his bed continued to shake. He looked up to realize that Husk was sitting up on the bed. "Husk? What the hell are ya doing?" Once again, he called out but got no response. Worried, Angel sat up and scooted out to him, touching his shoulder as he realized Husk was shaking violently. He was mumbling and hyperventilating as well.
"Husk!? Sweetheart you're worrying me," Angel spoke louder this time, but still got no response. He got in front of his boyfriend and started trying to shake his shoulders to see if it'd wake him up from his spell. "Husk!? HUSK."
The shaking had made it worse though, his breathing got more erratic, his mumbling went faster and his eyes were squeezed shut as tears poured out. "Fuck." Angel muttered to himself, internally facepalming himself for thinking that was gonna work.
This time, he took the trembling winged cat demon into his four arms and pressed him close to his chest. He took his mouth and started softly whispering his ears, "You're gonna be okay, dear. Just follow my instructions, okay? Breathe in as slowly and as comfortably as you can, hold it for a little bit, then exhale as slowly and as comfortably as you can, okay?"
While he said this, he rubbed comforting circles around his back and slowly smoothed his wings in the specific spots he knew Husk liked. He shushed him and sang him sweet nothings in his ear, and reminded him of the slow breathing.
Soon enough, he had calmed down in Angel's arms. His breathing went back to normal, the tears stopped pouring and so did his thoughts. He still trembled slightly but it was better and less intense now. His wings lay resting on his back. Angel didn't stop rubbing his back though, hoping to keep the calmness he had now.
After a bit of silence, Husk breathed in Angel's body wash scent, it was fruity like the person who wore it. Husk sighed and muttered softly to Angel, "m'sorry.."
"For what?" Angel responded idly as he looked at Husk.
"For waking ya, what else?" He grumbled as he didn't meet Angel's eye.
"Don't be sorry whiskers, had a bad dream?" He inquired, playing with Husk's fingers.
"Mhm.." Husk shoved his face into Angel's fluff, muffling out half of what he said. Angel chuckled softly.
"You don't have ta tell me if you don't wanna, we can just sit here for as long as ya want babes," he pressed a kiss on his temple and petted some of his fur.
"Mm.. for the entire rest of the night?" He lifted his head up, looking at Angel with a soft blush on his face. Angel only smiled at him.
"As you wish, baby," he leaned in and kissed Husk's lips this time. Husk kissed back softly, as his face got redder.
Husk broke the kiss and said with slight embarrassment, "Don't... leave me, okay?"
Angel took a moment, not expecting him to say that. He studied Husk's face before smiling again and said, "I ain't going anywhere anytime soon."
Husk grinned back and then stuffed his face back into Angel's fluff. The spider whispered in his ear, "I love ya."
Voice muffled, Husk responded, "I wuv ou to, Legz," eliciting a laugh out of his lover.
