-Draco-
"I can't do this mother, I won't do it. This is Song's father, her father for goodness sake. This will kill her!" I pleaded with my mother, we were speaking in hushed tones in my room. Honestly, there was no place safe to speak anymore, the house was crawling with death eaters, and he was somewhere around here holding court.
"Draco, he will kill you, us." She said in tears.
"Don't you get it, I'm dead anyway, the moment I move against him, Song will kill me, bond or no bond." I felt lost. "I can't do this to her, I just can't." I placed my head in my hands. How did this happen to us? On one hand I had my parents to think about, but on the other hand there was Song, I couldn't betray her like this.
"Draco, I know that this is an impossible ask, I will find a way to get you out of this, have faith in me Draco, trust in me." My mother kissed the top of my head and quietly left my room. I thought about the day I came home, coming face to face with Lord Voldemort, sitting at the the head of our table, where my father usually sat, with that giant snake curled at his feet. It was the most terrifying sight I've ever encountered, and when he looked at me it felt as if he was reading every private moment I ever had.
"Ah, you must be Draco," his cold and terrifying voice slithered through me. In a panic I looked around and saw my mother sitting there with real fear in her eyes, my mad aunt Bellatrix beside her.
"Draco darling, the dark lord has spoken to you," my aunt purred.
"Y-yes." I answered, making my way to stand beside my mother.
"Home from Hogwarts, I presume." Voldemort stated, he smiled, and I would probably have nightmares about it for the rest of my life.
"Y-yes, just." I answered.
"And Selene, she's a student there?" He asked.
"S-Selene?" I asked. I looked around, I knew who he was referring to, but I couldn't let on, I wouldn't give Song up to him.
"He means Song, Draco," Came the voice of Professor Snape. I turned quickly to look at him, and his dark eyes bore into mine.
"Song? The headmaster's daughter?" I asked.
"MY DAUGHTER!" he roared causing everyone to jump including me.
"My Lord, the boy didn't know, no one did." Snape spoke up. Voldemort dropped the glare and threw on that terrifying smile once more.
"Of course, my dear boy, how could you know? After all, he stole what was most precious to me, changed her name, the way she looked, and for that, he will pay, and you my dearest Draco, are going to help me." He advanced towards me, fear seized my heart.
"Me? What could I do?"
He smiled that terrible smile, "I'm glad you asked."

Weeks before the start of term, I woke out of my sleep with the most aching feeling of sadness washing over me. "Song," I whispered, knowing that something was happening to her, unsure how I would get to her. I jumped out of bed, and made my way to my mother's bedroom. Knocking gently, I opened the door to find her still awake reading, her eyes seemed tired, she looked like she had been crying, "mum, are you okay?" I asked her, crossing the threshold into her bedroom.
"Oh Draco, darling boy, yes," She said, "I'm just reading a bit before I go to sleep, its so hard to sleep without your father." She said sadly.
"We'll have him home soon mother," I consoled her.
"Enough of that dear, what brings you by?" She asked, injecting a bit of false cheer into her voice.
"I think Song is in trouble, I need to get to her at Hogwarts, could you get me there?" I asked.
"Oh Draco, I'm not sure if that's safe." She said worriedly.
"Mother, everyone is gone but us, no one will know, you can tell them I went to Blaise's for the day, please mother, I think she needs me."
"You know what Severus said, in order for the plan to work, Song has to be at her weakest, being with you makes her stronger. I'm not sure that this is a good idea."
"Mother, I have all year to stay away from her, but tonight she needs me." I said firmly. I could tell her resolve was faltering, "Mum, I'm going to break her heart in the worst way possible, could I please just have tonight?" I asked. Her eyes softened, she knew how hard this was all going to be for me, but I had agreed to sacrifice my relationship with Song for the lives of my parents.
"One night Draco, and you are to be back here first thing in the morning. No excuses, I'm not sure when the dark lord will return here, and you must be here when he does." She told me while getting out of bed. "I will bring you to the gates, tomorrow at sunrise, you will meet me at the gates again so I can bring you home."
