"Forever young! I wanna be, forever young! Forever Young! Do you really want to live forever, and ever, and EVER?" I sang as I stood over the stove top. I covered the pot and took a seat at the table, where Uno was being played by Dennis and Dustin.
"Uno!"
"Hell no, pick up two." Dennis threw two card at his brother
"Why? I didn't cheat."
I snickered.
"Look at your lap, bro." Dennis quickly looked over the table to see the red reverse card on Dustin's lap.
"What? I didn't, that was, I quit!"
I laughed, looking back at the stove top. I quickly ran over and lowered the fire.
"Whatcha cooking?"
"None of your business, Dennis. Go sit down. It's almost finished." I pushed him away. I followed, dropping on to the couch. I pulled out my phone, checking my Facebook page.
"Got something you wanna check?" Dustin said, flying over the couch and dropping next to me. "Something important?"
"Oh, shut up! Go and, do something different than bother me." I pushed at him.
"Okay, I'll sit here and hum No Church in the Wild." He started humming the song, kicking his feet out and leaning back into my lap. I ran my hand through his short hair. I looked at the relationship status change from single to In a Relationship . I smiled, scrolling down at the comments. I got up and turned off the stove.
"Hey, Ass one and Ass two, dinners finished."
"Yes!" They yelled, running over to the table. I left them to fix the table, walking upstairs into Lyle's room.
I walked into his room. He was laying on his back, tossing his football up and down."Hey, dinners finished. Come down stairs." He looked up, throwing the football behind him.
"Thanks."
"Whats wrong." I said.
"Nothing. Why'd you ask?"
"Even I can tell if something is wrong with someone. Now, tell me." I said, sitting next to him. He placed his head on my lap, playing with my shorts pocket.
"My parents."
"By the way, where are they? I haven't seen Mrs. Cryssi in a while."
"Remember. Their business folks. Always on the move. They're only home once a few months. But my mom went into labor during a flight. They had to turn the plane back to Honolulu. She had twins, as usual."
"Awww, is she okay? Are the babies okay?"
"Yeah. Another pair of boys. I think their names are Andrew and Daniel."
"Aww! Thats cute! Where's your dad?"
"He's on his way to Hawaii to see them, then back to Japan. She's going to stay in New York for a while with my Grandparents." I nodded, running my hand through his hair. He relaxed, his hand snaking its way around my butt.
"Okay, mister slick. I made Shrimp Scampi Linguine and Garlic Bread. Come and eat."
"Yeah, on my way."
"Your kidding! I'm seriously not sleeping on the couch. Nope!" I said.
"Well, Lillia isn't here and her door is locked. The twins have their own beds and the guest room is not occupied but-"
"Okay. It's settled. I'm in the guest room. Goodnight!" I said, walking up the stairs. I Walked into the room and ran on to the bed. I relaxed into the soft covers and quickly got up, rummaged through my bag for my phone charger and plugged in it.
