Fourty-Three

-No one's POV-

Kie, Pope and JJ are outside testing the barrel to make sure it's sturdy enough to carry the gold. Lexi decided to let them take care of it so she can sleep more.

"How's it feelin?" Pope asks kie who's testing out the tin.

"Feels good." Kie says.

"John B pullin' a Houdini." JJ says as he sits on the new hot tub he bought last night, with his legs in the water.

"Yeah where is he? I got my scholarship interview tomorrow. We gatta get this done!" Pope asks. Right as he says that John B walks over. "Speak of the devil. Hey!" JJ try's getting his attention but John B seems completely out of it.

"Dude, I set up the entire winch to pull up the gold and everything." JJ tries taking the credit. "No he did not. I did that." Pope defends.

John B continues to ignore everyone and runs into the house. Lexi walks out of JJ's room still in JJ's t-shirt with no pants.

"Uh, what's all that about?" Pope looks over at JJ "I was ganna ask you the same question." JJ says as he gets out the cats ass and head inside.

"John B what the hell are you doing." Lexi rubs her eyes as she sees her brother looking for something. John B starts knocking shit over. "JOHN B!" Lexi starts to shout to get his attention "I know you hear me what are you looking for." She quickly grabs some shorts she finds in JJ's room because all of her clothes are in suitcases that's she still has yet to take to the Cameron's.

"You alright man?" Pope asks him.

"What are you looking for?" Kie asks.

"Bro what's going on man." JJ asks as John B walks to the couch and grabs JJ's gun. "John B what do you need the gun for?" JJ  walks up to him to try and grab the gun. "Just talk to us!" John B shoves JJ onto the couch.

"John B chill!" Kiara shouts. "What are you doing!"

Pope tries to stop him from leaving but John B shoves him as well.

"John! What the fuck are you doing! I swear to god John B!" Lexi starts to join in. Knowing that he won't stop her. She follows him outside.

"John B, what the hell are you doing?" Kie says as the rest of them follow.

John B gets on JJ's motorcycle and starts to rev the engine. Lexi stops next to him. "B talk to me what the fuck happened on that boat."

"Ward knows about the gold." Everyone goes silent. "He killed dad." He looks at Lexi and drives off. "What?" Lexi's heart breaks. Pope, JJ  and Kie try to chase after him in attempts to get more out of him. Lexi stays in the same spot.

"Ward killed him?" Lexi mumbles to herself. JJ walks over to her. "Are you okay?" He cups her cheeks. She moves his hands away and walks back inside. They all follow her back inside.

"He's gone. He's actually gone. All this time I had some hope that he was somewhere out there." Lexi goes on.

"It's okay to cry Lexi. You just found out your dad was killed." Kie tries to comfort her. "I'm not going to cry. I'm just shocked." Lexi looks at them. JJ hugs her. "I'm okay Jay. Seriously."
