Ashton's pov

Ashton stared at Luke as the blonde ran back to school. Ashton decided he didn't need the last hours of education. He ran home and lay down on his couch. "Already home?" Ashton looked up at Calum and sighed. He ignored his friend and walked upstairs. Calum was a vampire too, they did everything together. They both got turned at the same time, and from then, they were a team. Calum knew about Luke. Ashton had studied Luke's life for weeks, but on the night he was supposed to drink Luke's blood, he came back with a black eye and a bad mood. Calum had listened to what Ashton told him about the failed feeding. A feeding never fails, Calum had laughed at him and now they're in a sort of fight. Their fights never last long, but this time Ashton wasn't trying to make it up to Calum, like he usually would. He was ignoring Calum out of embarrassment. Because it was true. He'd fed of a stranger, just because Luke had surprised him. Ashton was upset with it, but he'd have another chance next month. They only fed once a month. That's all they needed. They drank half of a human's blood, then they kissed the person. A vampire's saliva healed. It replaced thd lost blood of the human within an hour. Most of the time, the person wouldn't wake up and the next morning, they'd think a bug had bitten them in their sleep. Now, it wasn't necessary to get to know a person better, but since Luke and Calum didn't have anything to do with their lives, they stalked their next victims. They'd never fed of one person together. They both choose a target and have a little competition. They'd ask each other questions about the other's victim, and the one who knew the most about their victim won. They did this for fun, because when they got turned in the year 1294, when they both were 17, That was 721 years ago, they murdered a lot. They felt guilty when they found out a vampire only needed blood once a month, they stopped murdering and got addicted to videogames when they got invented, and watched tv shows all day. Ashton had watched All old and new episodes of Doctor Who, all seasons of supernatural and Sherlock, and all videos from Dan and Phil. He never watched youtubers, because It would be horrible when they died if he got attached to watching them. Dan and Phil were and exception, because they'd been Ashton's victims.

Ashton sighed and lay down on his bed. He didn't sleep, he only had a bed to lay on if he didn't want to use the couch. Hid phone rang and he picked up. 'Michael' the sceen said. "Hello." Ashton put the phone on speaker and lay it next to him, he had better ears than humans, so holding it at his ear would hurt. "Hey, it's Michael. Come hang out with me and my friends at the park, we have a surprise." Ashton sighed. "Can I bring a friend?" Michael chuckled and agreed, so Ashton hang up and skipped downstairs. "Calum!" Calum stood next to him within a second, raising an eyebrow. Ashton was still mad, but he knew Calum was bored, and a little air wouldn't kill him. "You're coming with me, meeting some 'friends'." Ashton didn't really consider Michael his friend, but whatever. Calum nodded and they walked to their car.

Luke's pov

"Just let me go!" Michael laughed and shoved Luke against a tree. Two boys held his arms. "We're waiting for Ash and his friend, they'll have some fun with you." Luke's throat suddenly became very dry. Ashton said he wouldn't hurt him, why did Luke even believe him? Vampires can't be trusted. Luke closed his eyes and hot tears ran down his cheeks. He was used to pain, but he really didn't want to be killed by a vampire. Ashton had said the vampires from supernatural were bullshit, but Luke doubted that. It must've been true. I couldn't be fake. All of the demons were real, so the vampires had to be real too. "Aw, look. The baby is crying." Michael laughed and Luke heared a car honk. He opened his eyes and saw Ashton approach with some Asian guy. No, on second thought, The boy was probably from New-Zealand. Michael was obviously checking out the guy, which didn't make sense. Michael couldn't be gay/bisexual/pansexual. He bullied Luke partly because of his sexuality. This was just unfair.
Ashton approached and the unknown boy followed him. Definitely a vampire too. Luke chuckled and Michael smacked his head. Luke hoped Michael would fall in love with the unknown vampire, because love between a human and a vampire never ends well. Ashton smirked at Michael. "Here I am. This is Calum." Calum shook Michael's hand anx Michael introduced himself. Then he turned to me. "Me and my friends are going to leave, do whatever you want with this faggot. He has a weak stomach, so don't be surprised if be throws up when you punch him there." With a last glance at Calum, Michael and his gang walked away. Luke closed his eyes and clenched his fists, ready to be killed.

Ashton's pov

"Awesome, now you can finish what You couldn't last night." Ashton showed Calum his fangs angrily. "I'm not hurting Luke." He whisperd. Calum stared at him. "Why not?" Ashton turned red. "I um. We only feed once a month, remember? I've already fed yesterday." Calum frowned. "Ashton. We need to kill him." Ashton slapped Calum across the face. "Were done killing Calum! We promised We'd never do it again!" Calum nodded, trying to calm Ashton down. "I Know, I know. I just mean, he knows you're a vampire. He needs to die." Ashton frowned. Hd didn't want to kill Luke. "J-just kill me already." A weak voice called out. Ashton turned around. Luke was tied to tree, his eyes closed. Ashton stepped closer and cupped Luke's cheek. "I'm not going to hurt you." He whispered. Luke winced as Ashton untied him. He fell to his knees and looked at Ashton. "P-please just do it. I-I don't even want to live anymore." Ashton gasped and kneeled next to Luke. "Don't ever fucking say that again. You must have something to live for. Parents? Siblings? Friends?" Luke shook his head. "M-my parents aren't home. They never are. T-they don't love me. My brothers are in college, and I don't have friends." Ashton helped the blonde up and couldn't help but frown at how easy it went. Without asking, hs lifted Luke's shirt. Luke winced and Ashton couldn't say a word. He could almost see Luke's ribs and there were awful bruises all over him. Luke looked away, thinking Ashton thought he was fat and ugly, which he was. Whilst honesty, all Ashton wanted to do, was hold Luke forever, kiss his beautiful face, make sure he's okay, and never ever let him go, forgetting all about the fact that Luke is a human, and he is a vampire.
