Reich ran back to his friends after talking to the Russian. They seemed fine with having another person join them. Well, kinda..

"You have a date!!!"

"Date, date, date, date!!"

"Please stop and it's not a date."
Reich face palmed, why did his life have to be like this.

"Okay we'll stop." JE smirked, "When you say it's a date." Her and FI high-fived and giggled like a pair of school girls.

Reich rolled his eyes, this was going to be a long day.

Soon enough the night had settled, and the three idiots had set out for some food, Soviet said he would meet them there.

The three waited patiently in their seats for the Russian man.
"You do realize that he's only paying for me right?"

FI nodded, "Yeah, but you could order some extra things." He wiggled his eyebrow.

JE jumped in, "Yeah! Like some extra meals maybeee."

"And desert-"

"Would you two shut up, I'm not going to take advantage of this guys kindness, okay."
Reich grumbled at them.

Japan huffed. "Who is this guy anyways?"

Reich looked at her, "I don't know, he just spilled his drink on me and insisted that he do something to pay for his crimes."

Italy looked confused. "You accepted a date from a total stranger because he spilled his drink on you?"

"Yeah."

"That's some top tier way to get someone to go out with you."

"Yeah, something tells me this guys had the hots for you for a while."

Reich looked at his friend confused. What did they mean by that? They just met-

Reich stopped his thoughts as he quickly began to panic as he saw the Russian walk through the door. "Shut up you two, he's here."

FI and JE looked to where Reich was pointing. FI jaw dropped, and JE nearly screamed. "How did you get such a hunk to ask you out!-"

Reich looked offended and embarrassed, "You two shut it before I personally cut both of your tongues out!"

"Naw FIs right for once, there is no way this guy doesn't have a crush on you."

Reich blushed red and was about to go off on them against but he stopped as soon as he noticed that the Russian right was right next to him. The two waved at each other.
"Uh- USSR, we where just waiting on you-"

"Oh please Reich, call me Soviet."
Reich blushed and nodded sheepishly. Japan was silently screaming over and over again at the German. Italy looked surprised, and gave Reich a, 'are you sure this is not a date?' Look. That's a very specific look.

Soviet was going to sit next to Reich but Italy and Japan quickly stood up. "You know what!" Japan declared.

"What!?" Italy responded back. The two red countries looked at them confused.

"I think this table is too small for us."

Italy nodded. "Uh- yeAH!"

"Maybe we should move." Japan grabbed Italy and pulled him to the table right behind their previous table.

"Uh." Reich add, "Shouldn't we all move to a new table then?" Soviet kept his attention on Reich.

"NO, I mean- probably not since Uh- Italys fat and he needs a lot of room."

"HEY-" Japan hit his arm, mumbling at him to shut it.

They all got settled down eventually. Soviet and Reich at a table alone now. Italy and Japan sending Reich kissy faces from behind the Russian. Reich felt soooo embarrassed, he tried to hide under his menu at some point, but he could still see his friend's teasing faces from afar.

Reich shook his head and tried to ignore them knowing he would have to order soon. He sighed. This was not a date. Defiantly not. But the look the Russian was giving him was giving him second thoughts.

Reich thought the dinner was awkward, he didn't have a bad time, he just wasn't used to going out with other people. Especially with his friends teasing him the whole time.

But eventually they all got out of the diner, Soviet insisted on desert but Reich declined, saying that he should be getting home soon.

The night was coming to a close as everyone was saying their goodbyes. Reich, JE, and FI where waving goodbye to the Russian who was walking to his car.

"Soooo, is there a second date?"
Reich glared at Japan.

"No, this was just to apologize for spilling his drink on me."

"Kinda extra for just a drink spill." Italy remarked.

JE watched the two bicker before nudging Reich. "Did you give him your number?"

Reich blushed and hit the other, "Of course I didn't!"

JE and FI looked upset, of course he didn't. Italy pipped up, "Well of course you didn't, so get it before he leaves, you idiot!"

The two nudged the German forward. Though Reich didn't mind his time with the Russian, he wasn't prepared to give some random guy his number.

JE glared at him when he wasn't moving, "Go give him your number so you can have a second date!" She pushed him, "Go. Get. Me. Grandkids!"

Reich finally moved, tired of getting pushed around. He glared at his friends.

He gave them the bird before sprinting after Soviet.

He finally caught up to the Russian, "Soviet!"
The Russian turned to him.

The street lamp was the only light for the sidewalk they where on. He stopped and took a deep breath, tired from his run. Soviet looked at him confused.
"Give me your phone."

Soviet looked even more confused but handed it over to him, the phone already opened. Reich took it and typed his contact in.

Soviet watched him for a minute and eventually the German was done. Reich gave him back his phone, he blushed and looked away. "J-just in case you maybe wanted to go out again sometime..."

Soviet looked at his phone, noticing the new number in his contacts. He blushed and quickly moved his phone to his camera, he wanted to savor this moment for ever.

He starting taking as many pictures as he could, thankfully Reich didn't seem to notice.

Soviet smiled at the German. "I would love to."

Reich looked up at him extremely surprised. He blushed even more and nodded rapidly.
"O-okay! Uh.. well. See you soon then." Reich waved at the Russian, taking a step back.

Soviet waved as well, still smiling at the German. Reich ran off again, back to his friend who where giggling at him.

Soviet laughed as the red country punched both of them in the shoulder and pushed them forward. The three made a noisy get away full of yells and laughter.

The Russian smirked looking down at his phone, his dear had been holding it just seconds ago.

He was making progress. Soviet felt him shake. He was actually making progress.

The Russin's smile brightened shakily, he was finally getting what he wanted.
