The next morning, Dracena and Ryuga were abruptly awakened by the raucous screams of their friends. Ryuga groaned and buried himself deeper under his covers, attempting to drown out the noise with a pillow over his ears. Dracena, on the other hand, was less successful in ignoring the disturbance.
"Could you guys please keep it down?" Dracena muttered groggily, her voice muffled by her pillow.
Instead of heeding her request, their friends only seemed to amplify their cacophony, prompting Dracena to reluctantly open her eyes and shoot them a tired glare. However, her attempt at intimidation was undermined by the drowsiness evident in her gaze, and she soon gave up, mirroring Ryuga's actions by retreating back under her covers.
The uproar in the room only intensified as their friends teased them mercilessly for their apparent closeness. Amidst the teasing and hooting, Hermione intervened, her voice cutting through the chaos.
"Alright, everyone, that's enough," Hermione scolded, her tone firm yet understanding. "They look exhausted, let's give them some peace."
With that, she ushered the rest of their friends out of the room, leaving Dracena and Ryuga in blessed silence once more. As she made her exit, Hermione couldn't resist a parting remark.
"You two may claim you're not together, but you sure act like it," Hermione teased with a knowing smile. "Anyway, don't forget to grab some food before you starve. Goodnight, sleepyheads."
With the door closing behind her, Dracena and Ryuga exchanged amused glances before succumbing to the allure of sleep once again.
After a few restless minutes of tossing and turning, Dracena finally conceded defeat to the persistent grip of wakefulness. With a resigned sigh, she threw off her covers and sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. It was futile to try and force herself back to sleep now; she might as well make the most of the early morning hours.
As she went through her morning routine, the anticipation of the day ahead began to stir within her. She dressed quickly, the familiar rituals of getting ready helping to ground her thoughts and focus her mind.
