Remembering last night, I fluttered my eyes open to be staring at an empty wall. I felt Hal's arms around the sheet that coverer my waist and my whole body.

I, Amelia Grey, made love with Hal Mason.

It felt so right being with him last night, I had never felt complete. I turned around to find Hal wide awake. He also had a sheet around him that only covered up his abdomen.

"Morning." The smile on my face increased as I heard that sexy morning voice of his.

"Morning." I said as I bit my lower lip and placed my hand on his stomach. I couldn't find anything else to say, I was lost for words. I tightened the sheet around my body as I couldn't contain my smile. His body against mine, his lips trailing down my neck, the way he moved inside of me and how natural it felt.

Hal cleared his throat, I knew he wanted to say something. I smiled as I touch his cheek. "You can tell me anything." I whispered.

He smiled. "Amelia," he paused for a second, making me curious, "I think I'm in love with you."

My whole body froze with delight. Did he just say that he loved me? I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The Hal Mason I knew would never say that, he would never confess his love to anyone. I liked this new guy that I was next to.

"I wanted to say it first," I smiled, "but I wasn't sure if you felt the same way."

"Amelia, I have been madly in love with you ever since that night in the rain." He whispered. If only we knew back then that we felt the same way, things would have been less complicated.

I quickly gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I love you, too."

He smiled as he stroked my hair, I could look into his eyes all day. "Do you want some breakfast?" He placed a strand of lose hair around my ear.

I nodded. "That would be lovely."

He kissed me on the nose and got up, letting the sheet expose the rest of his body. He didn't seem to mind.

I trailed down the stairs with only an oversized T-shirt on and a pair of shorts that I slipped into. My hair was in a messy bun and I felt dirty because I hadn't had a shower yet.

I went around the corner to find that the kitchen had been used but Hal wasn't in sight. I looked outside to see a shadow in me and my brother's treehouse. I smiled as I knew who was up there.

I walked bare foot across the backyard and I climbed into the treehouse. "Little Grey, it's not ready yet." Hal smiled as I saw that breakfast had been made.

"It's doesn't matter." I giggled as I put my hand to my mouth, covering my smile. "It looks perfect."

He smiled as he sat across from me. "Eat." He gestured towards the food.

I took a sip of tea and started eating slowly as he did. "Nick is going to kill me." I finished my mouthful as I let out a small giggle.

Hal smirked. "Why? He doesn't have to know."

I laughed. "I guess he doesn't."

We continued to eat until we were completely full. Hal leaned over the picnic blanket and planted a small but soft kiss on my lips, making me tingle inside like he always did.

"I love you," he whispered as he sat back down, "and I will always love you, Little Grey."

I never thought Hal Mason would be the type of person to say that he loved me. I thought he would never love me the way I loved him. I lied upside down on the couch, finishing off another Nicolas Sparks book.
