After having veered off the course of the sacred timeline, the God of Mischief, Loki is arrested by the Time Variance Authority. He's ultimately taken to their headquarters and put on trial for crimes against the Sacred Timeline.

He eventually finds himself in the Time Theater where he is taken by a man named Mobius.

"You're gonna start taking things seriously," Mobius begins with a stern tone. Loki scoffs as he peers at the ground, cocking his hips. You hadn't taken the Tesseract, you would have been taken to a cell on Asgard," Mobius continues.

The two men turn their attention to a tv screen. The screen shows Loki chained in handcuffs being escorted by Asgardian soldiers.

Loki furrows his eyebrows as he continues to watch the screen.

TV Screen:

Frigga appears as Loki walks by.

"Loki," she calls out.

"Hello Mother," Loki stops in front of her. "Have I made you proud?" The God of Mischief asks the older Asgardian.

"Please, don't make this worse," Frigga pleads.

"What is this?" Loki questions the grey haired man. "This is nonsense, more tricks, this has never even happened," Loki continues.

"Not to you, not yet," Mobius points at the long haired god. "Look, the TVA doesn't just know your past. We know your whole life, how it's all meant to be. "Think of it as comforting," Mobius suggests.

This is absurd," Loki asserts as he shakes his head side to side.

TV Screen:

"But am I not your mother?" Frigga questions Loki in confusion.

Loki walks towards the tv screen slowly.

TV Screen:

"You're not," Loki answers.

"Not always so receptive about anyone but yourself," Frigga walks towards the God of Mischief.

"And then the Dark Elves attack the palace and you think you send them to Thor," Mobius explains.

TV Screen:

"You might want to take the stairs to the left," Loki advises.

"But Instead, you send them

TV Screen:

"I'll never tell them," Frigga states in a stern tone as a dark elf holds her in a headlock. "Ahh," she grunts as the dark elf stabs her.

Shock hits Loki as he sees his mother lying dead on the tv screen.

"Where do you have her?" Loki begins questioning Mobius. "Where is she?" The God of Mischief grows concerned.

"You lead them right to her," Mobius utters sorrowfully.

"I don't believe you, you're lying!" Loki insists that Mobius isn't telling the truth. "It's not true!

"It is true!" Mobius stands firm on the fact. "That's the proper flow of time!" The grey haired man points at Loki. And it happens again, and again, and again because it's supposed to, because it has to! The TVA makes sure of it."

"Where is she?" Loki's concern grows evermore in him.

"Now why don't you tell me, do you enjoy hurting people?" Mobius questions the long haired god.

"I don't believe you!" Loki persists.

"Do you enjoy killing?" Mobius increases the volume of his voice.

"I'll kill you!" Loki threatens Mobius.

"What, like you did your mother?" Mobius questions Loki sarcastically. In reaction, Loki throws a chair aggressively. Mobius moves his body to avoid it and the chair hits the screen.

Loki attempts to charge at Mobius only to get reset do to the technology of the collar around his neck, finding himself on the floor.

"Sorry, the time twister just loops you, not the furniture," Mobius explains as he looks down at Loki. "You weren't born to be king, Loki, You were born to cause pain and suffering and death. That's how it is. That's how it was. That's how it will be. All so that others can achieve their best versions of themselves."

Loki peers at the tv screen and sees the Avengers altogether, ready to fight in the Battle of New York. He nods from side to side as he closes his eyes.

"What is this place?" Loki questions Mobius as he stares at the ground before looking up at the grey haired man.

"Come on," Mobius signals to Loki as he holds his hand out. The God of Mischief grabs his hand and stands up. Before Mobius knows it, Loki manages to take the time twister from him as he attempts his escape.

As Loki ventures through the TVA headquarters, he finds his way through a brown, wooden door.

"Hey," Loki whispers as he walks up to a man with dark complected skin.

"Hey!" The man shouts as he sets a folder down and turns towards Loki. "Hey, I know you, you're that criminal with the blue box.

"Shhhhhhh," Loki pushes the guy down into his seat in an attempt to silence him.

"Ow," the man furrows his eyebrows in confusion.

"What's your name?" Loki questions the man.

"Casey," the dark complected man replies.

"Give me the Tesseract or I'll gut you like a fish Casey!" Loki attempts to intimidate the man.

"What's a fish?" Fear enters Casey's body.

"Shh," Loki quiets him again.

"What's a fish," Casey repeats this time in a whisper.

"How do you not know what a fish is?" Loki furrows his eyebrows in confusion.

"Well, I've lived my entire life behind a desk," Casey explains.

"But what difference does it make," Loki continues, still confused.

"I wanna know what I'm being threatened with before I comply," Casey expounds upon the threat.

"Death Casey, violent painful death." Loki aggressively states.

"Okay, okay I comply, I comply. Casey lifts his hands up in fear. He stands up and opens the drawer in front of him, and hands Loki the Tesseract.
