I woke up to my phone buzzing, I groaned and unlocked my phone realizing I had 3 messages. I opened my dad's first.

Daddy🤑🙌🏾: Khloe and I left for another buiness trip . We will be back in a week or so. No parties! -- 10:39 a.m

I smiled to myself. I really wasn't about to have a party. For what? So it can turn out like Rico's? Nah b , I'm good on that one . I clicked on Kobe's message,

Me: Oh shit! I'm sorry Kobe, I was in the studio and stuff. I'm so sorry , I really am. -- 11:03 a.m

I smiled, I really did feel bad about blowing him off for our date yesterday. I was tired as fuck, I didn't get home til' about 1 in the morning. Quincy and I were high as fuck last night. We worked on another song, called "Yet."

I noticed Quincy texted me , and I clicked on his messages.

I locked my phone and got up going to my bathroom. I turned the shower on , and I hopped in.

I get out the shower wrapping the towel around my body, I quickly exit out my bathroom going to my closet. Since I was meeting with Kobe later I didn't wanna get all dressed up now. I grabbed a pair of navy , white and burgundy joggers , I slipped on a white cropped top that showed off my tattoos. I bent down grabbing my white mid-air force 1. I quickly tied them up and lotioned up my arms and stomach. I grabbed my blue MCM backpack , and grabbed my phones and house keys. I quickly ran out my room going downstairs , I looked out the window and noticed Kaelynn took the Lexus. "Shit!" I hissed.

Pulling my phone out, I dialed Quincy's number. On the third ring he answered, "Where you at Lani?"

"I'm at home, Kaelynn took the car and I need a ride." I told him. I heard shuffling on the other end, "I don't have my car , I rode with somebody here. I'll tell them to pick you up." He spoke into the phone.
