"Dad, I swear I don't know. We used protection every time," I defend.
"It doesn't matter how you don't know. What matters is that there is a girl who is most likely not your mate pregnant with your child," he yells.
"So what? We just let her have the baby, I pay for child support, never see her again, we find our mates, I become Helio, and we live happily ever after," I tell him.
"Are you kidding me? It's not that simple. She is carrying your child, which means the child could be a Helio and if that happens you can't just get rid if her. There is also the fact that the clan could lose respect of you for knocking somebody up. Then what if she demands to be Selene huh? Since you did impregnate her she could force you into marriage," he tells me.
I sigh. "I know. What should we do," I ask. This little mistake could ruin my whole life. I should be enjoying life right now before I become Helio, and not taking care of a baby. I didn't even want children. I was going to only have one to be the future Helio, but not till I'm old and need an heir.
"Son I really don't know," he sighs. "I will talk to your mother and my private council to see what we can do," he tells me.
Knock Knock
We turn towards the door and see Arrows standing there. "Hello," he says awkwardly. We stare at him. What is he doing here? "Ah, what are you doing at my house," my father asks.
"Oh. I'm Eros. I'm Diana's new friend," he says. My dad nods his head. "Of course. Diana said she was bring her friends," my dad says then stands up and walks over to him. He looks at Arrows up and down suspiciously. "I've met my other daughter's guy friends. They are harmless, but you I don't know. What's your intentions with my daughter," he says.
Arrows smirks, "To fuck her so hard that she becomes my cum slut," he answers cockily. My dad glares daggers to Arrows. I can't help but smile. Nobody has ever talked to my dad like that. They are always too scared. This must be how Diana feels when he stands up to me. I see why they enjoy it.
"Listen here son. If you even lay a finger on my daughter I will turn your testicles into meat balls and your dick into a hot dog and feed it to our dogs," my dad threatens.
"Ooo kinky," Arrows responds and I burst out laughing. My dad get furious and Arrows finally starts laughing too. My dad looks confused for a sec before he gets angrier.
"What the hell is going on," he asks trying to keep calm. We laugh harder.
"Dad...he's....gay," I say in between laughs. My dad immediately blushes a little and I laugh some more. My dad has never blushed in the 18 years I've known.
When we calm down he looks at Eros confused. "If you're gay then why did you say that," he asks. "Well, you were kind of accusing me of trying to bed your daughter, so I decided to have a little fun. Don't get me wrong though. Your daughter is lovely, but I prefer my partner to not have boobs and something in between their legs," he answers.
"Oh," my dad says in realization. "You on the other hand is a different story," Arrows tells my dad and bites his lip checking out my dad. My dad blushes and doesn't stumbles on his words. I feel my dragon spirit growl. I would think it was some sort of defend leader growl or protective growl, but it felt different more like...jealousy.
"Hey, he's mine," I hear a female voice yells.My mom walks into the room and wraps her arms around my dad. "Pity," Arrows says before smiling.
"So what are you doing here," my dad asks when he composes himself. "I mean here in my office."
"Oh I couldn't help, but over hear about your situation," he says. "Oh sorry. How much did you hear," he asks. "Only the last part of her forcing him to marry her. The rest I couldn't hear. I have some information though that might help you situation," he says.
"Really what," I ask desperately. Arrows smirks. "I'm telling your parents and not you. If they decide to tell you so be it. What I will tell you though is, she can't force you to marry her. So if she tries just say no," he tells me.
"Why," I ask. "Just because," he says. I groan. Asshole. I walk out of the office and close the door. I hear the door lock which means the magical sound proof is on so I can't eavesdrop. I shrug and go downstairs to the kitchen. When I walk in I see a brown haired woman that I've never see before cooking dinner.
"Hey," I say when I go to the island and grab an apple and start eating it. "Hey. It's nice to meet you. I'm Kara," she says as she gives me her hand. "I'm Damien," I say as I shake her hand. I look at her hand and see a wedding ring. She must be married.
"So, are you new," I ask. My parents usually don't hire new people unless they need to. "No. I was invited to dinner," she says. "And you're cooking the dinner," I ask. "That's not how it usually works."
"I know, but I insisted. I love cooking," she answers. I nod my head "mom, when is dinner going to be ready," I hear Ryder asks as he walks in. "Wait mom," I ask confused. "Yeah mom, and is going to be ready in 30 minutes," she answers us.
"If you're Arrows' brother and she is your mother that means you're Arrows' mother too," I exclaim. She laughs a little. "Arrows. I haven't heard that nickname in years," she says. "So I'm not the only one," I ask. She nods.
"Yeah there was this boy in kindergarten who would always call him that. I think he liked Eros because he got really jealous when Eros kissed another boy on the cheek. Then forced Eros to give him a kiss on the cheek everyday when they arrived and left school," she tells me while laughing at the memory.
"So, is your whole family staying over for dinner," I ask. They nod their heads. "All except Eros. He said he didn't want to come to the Clan Leaders' house," she answers. "Really. He's upstairs right now talking with my dad," I tell them. They look confused. That's when I remember that he doesn't know that I'm the future Helio and my father is the Helio.
"Diana said they were going to hang out today, he must have thought they were hanging at the dorms and not at the house," I tell them a fake explanation.
"I'm still surprised though that they're friends," Kara tells us. "Why," JJ asks as he walks into the room. "Because he hates Helios or at least dislikes them," she answers. I feel my dragon whine at that. What the Hell is wrong with him today?
"Why doesn't he like them," I ask. "We don't really know. Ever since he was little him and Helios never got along. I think it's because he is shy and anti social while Helios are attention whores and social butterflies," Kara says.
"Plus a lot of them can be jerks. Or at least when they're young," Ryder adds in. "Yeah, I know. Some of the ones at our old schools were such jerks as teenagers. I beat up like five of them," JJ tells us.
"So where is my twin anyway," I ask referring to Diana. "Oh, she had to go pick up her friends to hang out with her and Eros. They were going to drive here, but there car broke down," JJ says. I nod.
"So you have female twin just like Ryder," Kara says. "Wait you have a twin," I ask him. He nods his head. "Scarlett is my twin sister. Some people don't believe it though because we look completely different," he tells me. Wow. I know that fraternal twins don't look alike, but they don't even look like siblings. She has blonde hair and blue eyes while Ryder has brown hair and eyes. Though Scarlett kind of looks like JJ and Arrows kind of looks like Ryder. Then there's Gabby who got that red hair out of nowhere.
I look at Kara. "How did JJ and Scarlett get blonde hair and Gabby red, if you and your husband have brown hair," I ask. She smiles at me. She is really beautiful and I can see where Arrows got his looks from.
"My Siren grandmother was a blonde and my mom and sister were dirty blondes. They got their hair from her and Eros got his voice from her too. He has such a beautiful voice, if he ever offers to sing to you, you better accept it. Then Gabby got her red hair from my mother law. She also has blue eyes which explains their eyes," she tells me.
"Momma, JJ, Ry-Ry? What are you doing here," I hear Arrows ask from down the Hall. "Ry-Ry," I question. "Shut up. It is a childhood name that only Eros is allowed to call me," he says sternly. I smirk thinking about the nickname.
"We're here to have dinner, remember? I told you yesterday," she says. "I thought you said it was going to be at the Cl--," Arrows gets cut off by my sister screaming "We're home," and shutting the door.
Diana and 4 of her friends appear in the kitchen. "Well see you guys later," I say and I walk upstairs to my room.
Eros p.o.v.
After Demon left upstairs I look over at Diana and her friends and am surprised to see Gina.
"Gina what are you doing here," I ask confused. "Me? What are you doing here?"
"Diana wanted to introduce me to a couple of her friends," I say. "Yes and she is one of them," Diana answers.
"Oh," Gina says. "Kara. I heard that you're making dinner. I was wondering if there was room for a few more," Diana asks hopefully. My brothers and I chuckle a little. "Diana Baby, my mother makes enough food for everybody to have thirds and still have leftovers for the next three days. I think there's enough," Ryder says as he grabs Diana by the waist.
"Oh is this your mate Ryder," my mother asks. Ryder nods and kisses Diana's cheek. "She sure is."
My mom put the knife she was using to cut the vegetables down and washes her hand before walking to Diana and introducing herself. "Hello. I'm Kara Castillo, Ryder's mother."
"I'm Diana. Ryder's mate."
"Well momma the five of us are going to hang out so tell us when dinner is ready," I say and bring Diana with us before my mom can interrogate her.
Diana takes us downstairs to the basement. When we get there she starts to introduce me to everybody. "Okay, first this is Eros everybody," she introduces me and I say hi. "This is Gina as you already know," she gestures to Gina. Then she points at a boy about my height 5'9 with blonde hair and blue eyes. "This is Lane," she says.
"Hey," we both say and he gives me a bro hug. "This Jenna," she points to a brunette with grey eyes that is also my height. She gives a hug and a kiss on the cheek and says hello. Then the last guy with brown hair and eyes says, "and I'm the hottie of the 4 clans, Christopher, but I go by Chris," he tells me and shakes my hand.
"Chris please. The hottie of the 4 clans is the Pyro prince," Gina argues. I roll my eyes. Is every girl obsessed with this Pyro prince guy? He is apparently really hot, really powerful, and really good in bed. The only really hot guy I have met was Demon, but his personality turned me off.
"Hey I think Chris is really hot," Jenna argues back. Chris smiles at her. "Thank you. The only person in the clan that doesn't have eye problems," Chris tells her. "But the prince is still hot though," Jenna also adds.We all start laughing together. These people aren't that bad.
I still wonder who is the Pyro prince though.
