chris and matilda spent the first fifteen minutes in complete silence. chris looked furious as he sat at the desk and was typing out another message to his brothers. the girl was sitting on nick's bed and without much thought, she was picking at her cuticles.
they didn't even look at each other because they simply had nothing to talk about. they've definitely said too many harsh words lately. the limit for their arguments has been used up.
what was worst but so fucking funny at the same time was the fact that the party was in full swing downstairs while they were locked in nick's room because their friends had the brilliant idea of reconciling them. how stupid of them.
the sounds of music coming from downstairs and chris' fingers furiously tapping his phone screen added even more noise to tilly's mind. it was so stressful. being locked up in one room with someone who truly hates you and with no way to escape.
