Theo's POV

After Adam dropped off Savannah at the dessert place, he had a few words with me. He knew something was up. He knew I hadn't been sleeping and that I'd barely been eating. He knows I didn't mean to hurt Savannah or even fight with Matt. He tried long and hard to get me to tell him the real reason why I'd been off, but I just couldn't.

I had to convince him that I was in a good enough state to drive so I could pick up Savannah from the dessert place. Regardless of what she's done, she didn't deserve what I did. Also, I had to make sure she knew it's not normal for a man to behave like that, no matter what she might've done against them. When I'm gone, I don't know what she will allow other men to do to her, so I wanted to advise her and remind her that she'll always have Adam. I hate what she did to me, but I can't help but care for her and make sure she knows these things.

My mood then dropped when I caught her smiling at messages right in front of my face. When I questioned her about it, she told me it was Rosanna, but her face showed it all. I then asked to check her phone, and even though she gave it, I couldn't make myself see what was inside. I knew that if I did, it'd be the start of making things up with her, and I knew deep down that I am weak...

I would've taken her back.

That being said, it seemed like she was going to confess, it was like she wanted to say more but was holding things back. I waited the entire night for her to say something about what she'd done, but after our time in the car, it was like it didn't bother her anymore. My anger slowly started to build up throughout the night. Why wouldn't she just tell the truth?

I manage to sleep, but only because I've barely had any rest the past 48 hours. When I wake up in the morning, I see Sav still sleeping. She's had enough time to tell me, I can't wait for her anymore. It's Emilia's last night today, and I need to make sure I'm on that plane with her.

After getting ready, I lie and tell the others Sav is sleeping in so I can eat breakfast with only them as it will probably be the last time we eat together. At the table, all I could think about was how much I am going to miss them all and wish things were different. Matt is a character, but he has a lot of good in him. Rosanna is a loyal friend and has a slight attitude about her that puts a smile on everyone's face. And Adam... I'm going to miss him the most. He's the nicest person I've ever met, he's so mature and humble. I look up to him and learn so much from him.

After eating, we all spend some time at the beach. Then I make my way inside the hotel to call Emilia.

"Hey, Theo, how are you?" Emilia asks as she answers the phone.

"Hey, I'm alright, thanks. Have you had something to eat?"

"Yeah, just had breakfast. I'm back in my room now."

"Okay, good. How were your desserts with Sav? What did you think of her?"

"Aww, she's such a nice person, Theo. I really like her."  That's not what I wanted to hear.

"Oh... Really?" I voice my disappointment.

"Why?" Emilia asks with concern.

"I was hoping you'd notice what I see."

"What do you mean?"

I sigh as I begin to tell my lie. "I don't know, I just think she's using me. I know she doesn't like me because she stares at other men in front of me. And I think she's only with me for money as she always asks for it. But I can't leave her because..." I stop myself. How do I even say this to my little sister?

"What is it, Theo? You can tell me."

I realise Emilia's an adult, so I continue. "It's just, one minute I'd want to leave, and then the next I'd be so attached to her because... you know... she'd do stuff to me." I lie.

She gasps. "What? Really?"

"Yeah, that's why I asked if I could come home with you. I think that'll be the only way to get me away from her."

"I don't know, Theo. She seemed in love, she couldn't stop talking about you. Are you sure you're not overthinking it?" She's not convinced.

I begin sighing to act like I'm upset. "When Sav got with me she knew I was vulnerable. I regret getting with her so soon after Rosie died. I wish she were still alive. I just feel used and stuck now." I cringe silently to myself. I can't believe I'm using the dead ex card on my sister.

Emilia tuts. "I know. I wish she were alive, too. You don't deserve this, Theo." It's working. I knew it would. Emilia loved Rosie.

"It's just my luck, Emilia." I pause for a moment, then get an idea. "Is the friend that you're staying with a guy?" I know it's Dominic, but I need to act like I don't know.

She hesitates for a moment before replying with a "Yeah."

"Good. How about we all go out for dinner together? It's your last day so it'll be nice to see you before you leave. Also, you'll see for yourself that Sav will be looking at the guy you're with all night and then make moves to me so I don't leave her."

There's a slight pause. "Will that actually happen, though?"

"Yeah, please try Emilia." I sigh. "Look, if it doesn't happen, I won't come with you. But if it does, then you'll be sure you're doing the right thing and helping me."

She thinks about it and then replies. "Okay, Theo. I'll talk to Dad again. I'll see what he says." I'll take that.

I release a sigh of relief. "Thank you, sis. Oh, just to warn you, me and your friend might not get along at first because I won't be happy that my girl is staring at him. Also, I'd prefer it if you kept this between us."

"Don't worry, Theo, I understand."

"Thank you. I'll talk to you later." I end the call. This might actually work out for me.

Eventually, Emilia got back to me. She said she spoke to Dad, and he's fine with me coming with her. She also said that she has the tickets I need ready, but she made it clear that she will only give it to me if she sees for herself that Sav is the way I said. If so, I will be leaving with them tomorrow morning.

We also arranged a time and place for the meal tonight, and from that, I informed Sav, holding back that it's with Emilia and Dominic. This should be fun.

After a while, Rosanna goes to the hotel room, while me and the boys decide to sightsee. At around 2 pm, I get a text from Sav accepting the date. This gets me excited. I can't wait to see the look on her face and leave her for good.

Me and the boys get hungry, so we stop at a casual restaurant. As we walk in through the doors, a waitress greets us. "Hey, welcome. Have you been here before?"

She gives me a look of confidence as she looks down at my lips and then back at my eyes with a smirk, inviting me in. She's a brunette with brown eyes, just like Sav, she has a slightly darker tan than her, and she looks so fucking good. The apron is tied tightly around her waist, leaving no secret to the imagination of how she looks underneath her clothes. If Sav can mess around, why can't I?

The guys speak to her as she takes us to our table. I stop checking her out from behind when she turns around to face me.

The guys sit in the booth opposite each other, so I sit by Adam. She hands Matt a menu, then reaches over me slowly to give Adam one. I can't help but look down at her ass, fighting the urge to smack it.
