The Story of Fuli and Kion: The Hidden Truth

The epilogue

A cheetah and a lion were walking across the savanna. The cheetah's name was Issa and the lion's name was Zulu. The two had been expecting cubs  soon.
,,Issa, are you ok?"
,,Yes, thank you. Just a bit of a bellyache."
,,Well I'm glad. We did so much , since I chose you as mate."
,,Yeas the tree of life is really blossoming here.  We did a lot." Issa purred
,,It's just , the magic of the tree is so vulnerable! What if the tree dies??"
,,Nothing will happen, calm down! Our children will protect it"
,,And they'll be beautiful. How much until they're born ?"
,,I don't think it will be much longer. Perhaps a moon."
,,Can you do your royal duties?"
,,Of course I can!"
,,But I see you're tired, go rest"

After a moon
Issa was giving birth to cubs
,,Oh, it hurts so much!"
,,You can do it!"
,,The first ones coming: it's a cheetah ! And the second one is a lion! Congratulations !"
,,Ah, such a relief!
,,Aww, look they opened their eyes!"
,,How will we name them?"
,,The cheetah will be Fuli and the lion cub will be Kion. Together they will be the new guardians of the tree. But until then, welcome to the land of the tree of life , little ones.
After 12 moon
,,Our cubs are a year old. "
,,Not long until we will train them. But let them have a little fun, Zulu"
Meanwhile on the other side of the land
,,You think you're going to catch me?"
,,Yes, spotted cat!"
,,Hey! But mom said I'm the fastest animal here!"
,,That's  what you think!"
And they ran over the savanna
It's a beautiful day
To come and play

Together we are now
And that's what counts

,,I'm tired Fuli, let's rest"
,.Ok, I don't mind! I'm so glad to have a brother like you"

The next day
,,You are ready to start your training. Fuli, you will train with me. Kion, you train with Zulu"
Issa was teaching Fuli about the tree of life
,,Woah, who gave the tree the magic ?"
,,The tree got its magic from the ancients. Each time, they choose two guardians, and you and Kion will guard the tree after us"
,,Us? But we're just regular cubs!"
,,You're not. You were chosen by the universe!"
,,What if it was an accident?"
,,There are no accidents. You need to believe in yourself , Fuli! It will be useful!"
After a year of training
,,You both are 24 moons old and we will continue our training. You have worked very hard and now you need to go to sleep"
,,Ok, mum!"
As they both went to sleep a shadow came creeping
,,I will steal Kion! Haha!"
,,Who are you?"
Kion and Fuli battled against the lioness , but the lionness was stronger. She took Kion and swiped away his memory.
,,Kion, wake up!" Said Fuli
After a couple of moments Kion woke up
,,Whoa are you?"
,,She is our enemy " The lioness said
,,Then go away!" Kion yowled
,,What??"Fuli said
,,I said go away!!"
,,That's right my dear lion. By the way I'm Sala"
,,Let's get out of here!"
,,What???" Fuli cried
As they went away , Fuli was heart broken. She told her parents and they tried hard to find Kion, but were unsuccessful. Fuli cried each night about the loss and one night she had a strange dream.
,,Fuli, welcome!"
,,Who are you??"
,,I am your ancestor!"
,,What do you want?"
,,I've come to tell you that, you must live on. Your parents have been accused for something they didn't do and are being cast out."
,,What???
,,I'm sorry Fuli, but you are strong , you can do this!"
,,No!!!" And she woke up
Meanwhile in the skies
,,Oh, poor Fuli"
,,Is she ready?"
,,I know she is. It's very tough for her, but she will get through this. She must go to the pride lands. She is destined to do great things there"
,,But will she come back to the tree of life?"
,,She will and with Kion"
,,Are you sure?"
,,The Crystal skies never lie."
,,But did Sala erase her memory ?"
,,A little, but she still remembers that they are connected. And one day, the life will return to the pace it always have been.
,,What about the tree of life?"
,,A new family of lions will be there. So it is safe."
,,When Fuli comes back and Kion, they will set things right.
,,What about their parents?"
,,They will be all reunited, but for now Fuli and Kions destiny is in the pride lands.
,,And Kion?"
,,Sala is giving him to Nala and he will grow up in the Pridelands. Come and rest, you need more energy, we need to watch over Fuli and Kion
