𖦹︎ ִֶָ ࣪ ៹ Settle for a Fable

Maybe the sunsets weren't ours
Maybe you belonged to east unlike me
But I liked to imagine it was true
Your cologne returns with winds all free

I talk to the spirits till late nights
Heard from them you're happier than ever
Tears and laughs ghosting my lips
Blood creeping up my arms with endeavour

Is it wrong to still smell your scarf?
I still have our photos on my bedside table
Thanks for adding beauty to my life
I'll settle for this how a kid settles for a fable
