Feet moved against the wet concrete with the fast motion to escape the terrors of the beast behind. The squeak of her sneakers howled around the pitch black ally. She was almost out of her hell just a couple more steps and she was free after the torturers that man had caused her. Almost to the light that cast down by the New York lamp posts she was pulled on her upper arm and forced up on the brick wall of a building.

"I'll scream!" She shouted at his stone face.

He couldn't take her wimpy attempts to scare him so he pulled out his white drugged hanker chief and pressed it against her bickering lips. Her voice shushed down and the smell she wafted in made its affect on her poor slim body. She fell against the mans shoulder in a mere of seconds. She was hopeless as she laid drugged on her predators shoulder.

"See I will always have you. You can't escape me princessa." His thick Spanish accent evident in his every word. He softened her raven locks of hair and pushed some aside from her face. She was a rare creature and that is what had him fantasizing about her since the first time he saw her. He knew since that day that she was going to be his, one way or another.

He picked her up and walked calmly back to the basement where he had kept her since the day he took her away from society. He took her back to her hell.

"Is this dress a bit too, you know, out there." Honey eyes stared at the mirror just outside the dressing room that had been occupied by the dark haired girl who now wore a scarlet charmeuse evening gown. To say the least the gown looked feverishly elegant on the young girl. It made her plain child like body look like a woman's. It emphasized her not so exciting curves. The bit of plunging neckline that the dress had didn't show much since there was not much to show but even with that flaw the gown made her glow.

"What are you talking about this dress fits you perfectly fine. It makes your tan skin radiant under the scarlet material," twenty-two year old Kimberly said to her best friend since childhood.

"Really?" Amelia asked. She took another glance at her figure in the mirror and then looked back at her smiling friend.

"Would I ever lie to you." Kimberly over thought her words once she said them and was about to take them back when both her and Amelia fell into a fit of giggles.

"Your too funny." Amelia said. She put a hand to her mouth and attempted to calm herself down.

"I'm just a natural born comedian." Kimberly whipped her hair to the side and made a sexy face towards a laughing Amelia.

"In your dreams."

The clicking of heels made both young girls stop there misbehaving actions and take on serious ones.

"Is everything to your taste Miss?" The sales lady asked Amelia as she looked from her to her friend who was having a hard time pulling off a straight face.

"Yes. Please send word that I will be buying this dress. Have it ready for me by five p.m. today, sharp." Amelia looked over to the lady and waited for her response.

"Of course Miss Ludovisi." The lady left and Amelia let to go change out of the dress and into her floral printed Diane von Furstenberg Barths maxi dress.

Amelia walked and Kimberly handed her her nude Aspinal of London hobo bag.

"Let's get a quick bite after this," Kimberly requested as she rubbed her flat stomach.

"Okay let me just pay for the dress." Amelia took out her wallet from her purse and walked over to the awaiting cashier.

"Did you find everything to your likeness Miss Ludovisi?" The eager red head asked her. A wide smile spread over the young lady's face as Amelia nodded in reassurance of her satisfaction. "Alright then. That will be three thousand five hundred dollars."

Amelia took out her American Express Black Card out and handed it over to the cashier.

With one quick swipe the dress was paid for and Amelia and Kimberly were off to a small yet lavish Italian restaurant.

"Ah. It's nice to smell something from my home country." Amelia let out as a bit of her Italian accent slipped out.

"I still don't get why you dare hide you naturally beautiful accent." Kimberly smiled as her dear friend who suppressed a small blush.

Even though almost twelve years had passed since Amelia and her family moved to the states due to some business problems her father had in Italy her origin roots always seemed to stick out by nature. She tried her hardest to try and conceal this difference she had but at times as much as she tried it still slipped at the age of twenty-one.

Amelia and Kimberly were soon sat a a two seated table in the middle of the restaurant. Their waiter placed a menu in front of each young girl and immediately left when he was done.

"It seems even going to a place as secluded as this people still know who we are," Amelia sighed. She opened her menu and read the Italian writing that covered the first page.

"It will always be like that being who we are." Kimberly also opened her menu but not knowing Italian fluently she winced as she ran her eyes through words that looked like gibberish to her.

"Best friend in need of assistance," Kimberly coughed awkwardly.

Amelia let out a small laugh before helping her friend.

"How about for an appetizer we have some Bruschetta and for the main dish we have some Ziti?"

Kimberly pursed her lips in hopes of remembering what those where again. When she finally remembered she eagerly nodded her head.

"Will you do the honors of picking the wine?"

"I'm an expert at that," Kimberly said as she flicked over to the list of wine. "Lets have Passito di Pantelleria."

Amelia called for their waiter and they both placed their orders.

"Are you excited for your sister's engagement party tonight?" Kimberly asked after drinking a bit of her wine.

"I don't know. The fact the she doesn't seem happy with her fiance makes me think she never wanted to be with him. Our parents pushed her to marry him." Amelia's face fell. Thinking about her parents pushing her older sister to marry her boyfriend of only two months scared her. Her parents had introduced Angelica to her now soon to be husband and practically forced her to become his. She was scared they would do the same to her. It was in their family blood that the parents choose who their daughters wed. Only their daughters were too have their spouse chosen for them. Sons were allowed to marry whom they wanted the only rule that applied to them was that there other should come from a good family name. It was pretty sexist but, Amelia had to deal with it just how her sister was at that moment.

"Hey," Kimberly said as she noticed the sadness in Amelia's eyes. She put a hand on top of Amelia's and squeezed it. "Everything will be alright."

Amelia gave her a small smile and nodded at her reassurance. She on the other hand though knew everything wouldn't be alright.

After finishing with their lunch both girls headed to each of their homes to doll themselves up for that nights event.

Amelia sat on a chair that was in front of her vanity. She skimmed her cream face with her fingertips. She still looked like a young girl. Adulthood had just not kicked in enough for her. Even though she thought she looked like a teenage girl some of her features denied that thought. Her face was sculpted like a models. From the high cheekbones to the perfectly shaped jaw. Her almond like eyes drew you into a feeling of ecstasy. She just couldn't see past the small bits that made her look young. She was poisoned by the media and how it portrayed how every young was supposed to look, but she was wrong for ever thinking that some photo shopped magazine models were the key to looking beautiful because they weren't.

The penthouse phone rang making her pull out of her thoughts. She stood up and walked over to answer it.

"Miss Ludovisi a dress has just arrived for you. Shall I send the young fellow how bought it up?"

"Yes please." She hung up and went to grab her wallet from the coffee table and then went to the door.

After a small wait a small knock came. Amelia opened the door and saw a young man holding out her new dress for her to take.

"Thank you," she said as she took it. The young man then took out a pen and handed her a clipboard he had been holding.

"I will need you signature her and her."

She signed and then opened her wallet and took out a hundred dollar bill.

"Oh no Miss, I can't take that," he said as he rapidly shook his head.

"Please, it's nothing to me." Amelia practically shoved the bill to him when he kept on refusing. He finally gave up and took the generously large tip.

"Have a nice night Miss." A timid blush crept up his neck when Amelia gave him a small smile and said a goodbye.

A/N

This is a new story of mine that is a bit dark. So I guess I've just been watching too many shows and movies dealing with someone getting kidnapped and I just had to write a story of my own but of course put in some twist of some sort.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter and hopefully you stick around for the next.

Bye (:
