Max's POV: 

"What's wrong Max love?" She asked me quietly. I just sobbed in her arms. I couldn't help but remember all the times she was beaten black and blue from that monster. But the worst was when she was taken to the hospital the second time. 

" I was so worried you had gotten seriously hurt again." 

"you know josh would never let that happen" 

"I know" I told her.

Esmeray's POV: Things calmed down after a while and cops left one by one. Harvey, Max and Armand was with me in the living room now. I wanted to be there when josh came inside. 

He walked in with his head in his hands. I ran up and hugged him.

"You believe me right?" I asked him. 

"Of course I believe you darling" He said kissing my forehead. I smiled.

"Its already seven in the morning. Why dont you boys stay and get some rest?" Gabi offered behind us. They all agreed. 

"Actually, I figured we could invite the rest of the boys over?" Josh said. 

Gabi mouthed oh. I wondered what they were up to.  

"Alright, I can start on breakfast" gabi said. 

"Can I get rest before they come?" I asked. 

"Of course" Josh said. 

I stood up without a word and walked to my room. I quickly got under my sheets without any struggle and layed my head on my pillow and started to doze off. However, when I heard my door open I shot my head up quickly. 

"Its alright its only me" Armand said peering his head out from the door. 

I smiled and opened up the blankets so he could slip in. He laid down with ease and immediately pulled me onto his chest. 

"Just rest now love, you've had a long night" He whispered as he stroked my hair. 

I sighed in comfort. I nuzzled into his chest and smiled to myself before letting myself fall asleep. 

Armands POV: 

She laid perfectly on my chest as I stroked her hair. She was so beautiful, even when she was tear stained and red from crying. 

I heard someone knock at the door and quietly open it. I put a flinger on my lips signaling for them to be quiet. 

"How is she?" I heard josh ask. 

"Fast asleep" I softly replied. 

I watched him as he walked closer and sat at the edge of the bed and sighed. 

"Im worried" he said almost too quietly. My eyes widened as I noticed small tear forming around the edge of his eyes. 

"Im worried she's never going to fully recover from her past and she will suffer" He whispered. 

I sighed and thought about how to comfort him. 

"I think she will recover. She won't suffer However, she will be stronger and she might have a few set backs but she will be ok" I said looking back down at her and smiling. 

"Yeah you're probably right" He said smiling. 

"Im afraid for when she leaves for uni. I won't be there" 

"Yes, but me and max will be. You can always visit and call and message." I counter. 

He just sat there silently before standing up from the bed. 

"I'm going to make some tea, would you like some?" He asked me. 

"Im ok josh, thank you" I said as I watched him walk out of the room. 

Soon after he left I let myself relax under Esmeray and slowly drift off to sleep.
