"Liar!" Mitsuri exclaims.
"Anti Cupids is just a myth!!!"

"Myth?" The Anti Cupid raises his hand, showing a broken heart mark on his wrist.

Mitsuri's eyes widened more.
"Just who do you think you are!?!?"

"I'm Obanai Iguro..."

"Obanai Iguro..." The pale male in his white robes said in monotone, sipping his warm jasmine tea.

"Obanai Iguro?" Mitsuri repeated.
"He sounds nice!"

"No..." He shook his head.
"I've encountered him in the forbidden forest, his soul has a lot of hatred" He stated.

"Ehh..." Mitsuri leans back on her seat.
"Tokito-sama, what even is he?"

"He's an Anti Cupid."

Indeed he is one.

Mitsuri didn't believe in what had the soul collector told her...

She knows well that Anti Cupids were a separate species that grows hatred, a cold heart. Just like hate is the opposition of love, Anti Cupids are the opposite of Cupids.

"No..." Mitsuri covers her mouth with a hand, looking at the Anti Cupid she had ran into.

"You don't need to introduce yourself, I already know who you are..." Obanai furrows his brows. He walks up to Mitsuri, scanning her from top to bottom.

Mitsuri here, watches him walk towards her.
"I... I didn't expect you to be this tall..." She commented, holding her laugh after noticing the height difference.

Obanai rolls his eyes.
"What do you want?" He asked.

"I want you to stop with what your doing!" She said.
"No wonder why most cupids had quitted their jobs..." She murmured.

"That's good" He said.
"Love is fake anyways."

"How could you say that!?" Mitsuri yells.
"Love is important! It's what makes the world beautiful!" She stomped.

"How poetic..." Obanai said sarcastically.

Mitsuri just pouts.

"Kanroji, please remember... No matter how much you believe in love, hate will always pass by..."

Hearing Muichiro's words echoing in her head, makes her want to yell. How can someone like him be filled with hatred? What made him hate love? Did something happen?

"If you don't need anything, leave or I will" Obanai sighed and turns away. He lifts up his black feathered wings, about to fly up the broken stained glass window.

"Hey—!" Mitsuri steps in, not wanting him to leave yet.

"What?" He glances at Mitsuri.

"What is this place? If I may ask..." She said, fixing her posture and scratches the back of her neck.

Obanai paused for a bit.
"This was the old Cupid castle..." He stated before flapping his wings and flew away in the sky.

A gush of dust and dirt flew over to Mitsuri as she flaps her hand and coughed. She looks back at the broken glass window, watching the Anti Cupid fly away.

"YOU MET AN ANTI CUPID!?!?" The king shouted, the people in the throne room is as shocked as he is.

Mitsuri stood there, on a red carpet with golden linings. White pillars around the place, supporting the second floor. Pink ribbons decorated on the ceiling with Cupid servants and guards around the place.

"Yes father..." She sighed and bows.
"I apologize for this failed mission, this is my fault for not noticing him sooner..." She said, apologetically.

"No my dear," Her father said, rubbing his head with the tip of his fingers.
"You don't need to bow, we just need to figure out a way about this situation..." He said.

"I understand father..." She said and stood straight a she looks down.

Sighs...
"Nezuko!" He yelled.

Nezuko immediately ran over to the king and immediately bowed. She can't fly as she was just a taken in soul. A soul who was supposed to be collected by the soul collector, Muichiro Tokito, but decided to stay with Mitsuri.

"Yes, my lord?" She said and stood straight.

"Please accompany Mitsuri to her room, she seemed to look unwell..." He said.

Nezuko bowed once again and walks over to Mitsuri.

"Come on, Nee-san..." She whispered and took Mitsuri's hand.

She then gently leads Mitsuri to her room, walking pass the throne room and to the hallway. They pass by while cemented pillars and large painted portraits on the other side.

They eventually reached Mitsuri's room and Nezuko creaked it open. She lets Mitsuri walk in first before her, then closes the large door.

Mitsuri groans and lets herself fall on her puffy heart decorated bed. She rolls around, a frown evident on her face.

"Mitsuri..." Nezuko sighed, walking up to the princess.

"What am I gonna do Nezuko???" She said, sitting up.
"This could mean the Cupid Kingdom is at stake! Who knows how many more of Anti Cupids are there!"

"Your highness uhm..." Nezuko glances to the corner as she fidgets her fingers.
"I mean, this kingdom is filled with Cupids, I'm sure that Anti Cupids has a lesser population..." Nezuko stated, unsure whether she's correct or not.

"I guess you're right..." She sighed.

Then she got an idea in mind.

"Wait," She clapped.
"What if I visit Shinobu-San?"

"Kocho?" Nezuko blinks.
"Why would you need to visit her?"

"Well Shinobu keeps track of who's alive, whether their humans or not! Plus their all organized too!!" She smiles and gets off her bed.

"You're going to sneak out again...?" Nezuko asks, wanting to stop Mitsuri.

"Dad already knows that I've been breaking the rules," She walks to her balcony and stands on a railings.
"At the same time he knew that I can take care of myself so... See you during dinner!" She waves and jumps off. In a split second she's flying over the clouds, going to Shinobu's place.

"This is very complicated..." Nezuko sighs and walks off.

"Ara! So what brings you here Kanroji-San?" Shinobu said with her usual tiny smile.

They walks around the large place, filled with tree roots connecting to clocks. Clocks that look new and old, Clocks that looks broken and fixed, gold and silver, butterflies roaming around it.

"Uhm well... I'm wondering if you know how many Anti Cupids are there?" She asks.

"Ara, Anti Cupids?" Shinobu said calmly, putting a finger on the side of her cheek and tilts her head as she thinks.
"I think it's located on the roots of the Cupid tree..." She answers.

"Where could that be?" Mitsuri asked, visibly curious.

"Come" Shinobu gestures as she turned and walks to the side.

Mitsuri follows her friend with no hesitation, trusting her on this. She looks around to see some clocks had stopped and some kept ticking. Even the clocks that look new stopped ticking.

"Ara, you must be curious about these clocks?" Shinobu laughs.

"I guess..." Mitsuri said awkwardly with a smile.

"Each of these clocks tells a person's life... Mortal, Immortal, Human, Not human, they tell us when the person's life about to end. When the clock keeps ticking, the person is alive. When the clock is slow, they are nearby... And when the clock stops, they died..." Shinobu stated.

"And how about Tokito-san and Himejima-san? The soul collectors?" Mitsuri asked, tilting her head.

"Well, they collect the soul after their death and brings it here to me. They will be turned into butterflies and fly off, going to find their new life!" Shinobu smiles.

"Uwah! That's amazing! No wonder why you have butterflies around the place!" Mitsuri said, her eyes lighting up.

Shinobu giggles. She then looks down as she's walking, noticing a clock connected to the roots.
"Here it is!" She said, pointing towards to clock.

Mitsuri looks down to were Shinobu's pointing. It was a single clock connected to the roots.

"Obanai Iguro..." Shinobu said, knowing who's clock this is.

"That's the only Anti Cupid clock?" Mitsuri asks.

Shinobu then glances up an down, side to side. Yes, there is clocks but not Anti Cupids...
"I'm afraid so..." She said.

Mitsuri stares at the clock. She crouched down and touches the clock gently, watching it tick.

"Becareful, you might ruin his lifespan..." Shinobu said.

"Shinobu-san..." Mitsuri said, putting her hand away and looks up to Shinobu.
"You read books, right?"
