"I guessed right, the reason why the mermaids were so strong even though the whales were strongest after the dragon is they had a dead dragon mana." Cale said after confirming that it was really a dead dragon ring he was seeing.

At Cale's words the other three stiffened up, a clear disbelief showed on their faces.

Cale looked at the dead mana thoughtfully. 'It would be good for them if they just eradicate it but it's too wasteful to destroy such a precious dead dragon mana! When I can use it as a bragging chip. I can give it to crown prince Alberu and receive a big amount of fortune to use in the war without using a single penny from my family.'

"Hehehehe" Cale's whole body trembled in excitement to scam, Choi Han having used to Cale's evil laughter just looked away, Ron wasn't going to see his second child's disgraceful behaviour for a noble and Beacrox sent side eyes.

Two bottles appeared at top of the dead mana and poison, the left bottle sucked in the dead mana while the right bottle the poison.

Cale gave the bottle holding poison liquid to Beacrox while he put away the dead mana bottle with a bright smile.

That is when he noticed that there was an ancient power, Cale titled his head to the left side. Cale blinked at the ancient power before turning to look at his group. "Do any of you want ancient power?"

The ancient power was speechless at the red haired boy's casual way of asking like it was just a piece of fruit that is sold in the market.

Ron, Beacrox and Choi Han shook their heads as they didn't want it, they didn't need an ancient power cause they are already powerful.

The ancient power was once again speechless as he had never met humans who didn't desire it. An odd bunch of people he had met.

Cale also didn't want to take it but at the thought of White shit coming here and taking this unknown ancient power just made him think again and grimace.

"That I will take it ba." Cale unwillingly took the ancient power.

Timeskip......

In front of the big tree, stood a man with white mask and wearing arm attire. Ten steps away from the man stood a few same attired people stood trembling and tensely.

No one expected that someone would take the ancient power before their liege could.

They cursed whoever took it because it would be them who would receive the ending of their liege's anger. They can feel the aura full of anger pressuring their surroundings.

It has been only one day since they found this power and in the meantime of them reporting, it went missing.

"Find it!!! Whoever that took it shouldn't be fareway! Bring that bastard to me!!" With that the masked man left with a magic scroll, leaving behind the mens in black.

They didn't talk as they didn't have time for that, they needed to find the person who has the ancient power. It has been only one day so that person should not go far, they remembered that there was a village near this tree.

They saw the village wall, they were getting near when suddenly there was a cage falling on them. They tried to cut it with their swords, which is not a normal sword obviously but they couldn't cut it at all.

Looking closer they realised it was a sword aura, the cage was made of sword aura.

It was that moment they knew they fucked up.
