"Keep your face always toward the sunshine, and shadows will fall behind you." - ...

~~~~~
It was an early morning at the bustling airport in India.
The sun had just started to peek through the horizon, casting a warm glow over the busy travelers.
Among the crowd was deveshi, waiting for her taxi to arrive. She had just landed in Gujarat.
As she sat in the taxi and settled into the backseat, watching the cityscape slowly fade away as she made her way towards the outskirts.
As she looked out the window at the scenery passing by.
The streets were lined with colorful houses and the aroma of Indian spices filled the air.
She couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia as she remembered the summers she spent in her village as a child.
The tall skyscrapers were replaced by lush greenery and the noise of the city was replaced by the chirping of birds and the rustle of leaves. It was a stark contrast, one that left me in awe.
The road ahead twisted and turned, offering glimpses of a beautiful countryside.
Small villages dotted the landscape, each with its own unique charm.
As we continued on, the scenery became even more breathtaking. Rolling hills, verdant forests, and crystal-clear streams welcomed me to the countryside.
The air was crisp and fresh, a welcome change from the pollution of the city.
Deveshi's pov:
As the taxi made its way through the crowded streets, I could feel my heart started to race.
I could feel the tension in the air, and it only grew as they got closer to her village.
My grandfather's home was on the outskirts of Madhapar village in Kutch district of Gujarat and she could see the villagers going about their daily chores.
I got down from the taxi and made my way to the bus that would take her to the village entrance.
The bus ride was short, and as I walked through the village entrance, I took in the familiar sights and sounds.
The children playing cricket on the streets, the women washing clothes by the river and the elderly men sitting under the banyan tree, gossiping.
As I made my way through the village, I couldn't help but feel a deep connection to the place.
This was where she had spent her joyful childhood.
But as she neared her grandfather's house, she noticed something strange.
"vah vaapas aa gaee hai" I heard someone whisper to my right.
(she is back)
"Theek kah Rahi ho" someone whispers again.
(you are right)
People were looking at her with a mix of shock and curiosity. Some even turned their faces away and hurried in the opposite direction.
The village may have changed, and the people may have become more cautious but someone can never change the past. I thought as I made my way to my house.
Pushing aside her concerns, deveshi began to make her way towards her family home.
The familiar sights and sounds of the village enveloped her as she walked through the narrow lanes and past the lush green fields.
It was a beautiful day, with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze rustling through the trees.
The path to her house was lined with vibrant flowers and lush green trees, creating a breathtaking scenery.
The village of gujarat was known for its rich cultural heritage and strong sense of community, but the home of the Rathore family was a beacon of modernity amidst the traditional mud houses and thatched roofs.
The Rathore home was a whimsical structure, with rounded walls and a sloping roof that seemed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
Its windows were adorned with colorful stained glass, casting rainbow patterns on the floors and walls within.
As she approached her home,she couldn't help but feel anxious.
