Unexpected

Chapter 17

When the two finally made it back to the house they noticed everyone's car in the front yard. Ally loved her friends but all she wanted to do was have a restful night with Paul and the baby.

"There goes my night of relaxing" she sighed as she got out of the car. Paul following her actions before taking Jaxon out. Ally turned to look at him with a tired smile.

"We'll be in bed in an hour" Paul said as they walked down the path that lead to the front door. "Jacobs at Bella's graduation party tonight so him, Embry, and quil aren't here. Plus Emily and sam have to watch her niece and Jared's taking Kim on a date" he explained, he already knew his imprint would want nothing more than to be in their own bed. He made a point to call the males of the group to make sure they would be out of their house early enough for her to relax.

The female nodded before entering the home. "Yay! Your home!" Kim exclaimed excitedly as she rushed over to hug her friend "I missed you" she said as the two embraced.

"I missed you too" Ally said before Kim went rushing over to Paul and the baby. She smiled at her best friend as she fussed over Jaxon.

"How was the rest of your hospital stay?" Carrie asked her daughter as Jared helped Paul with the bags he carried.

"It was fine, we finally got him to latch better and figured out which binky he likes best" Ally said as she sat down on the couch with Emily beside her.

"He's definitely a cutie!" Emily gushed as Kim brought the baby over, the two woman cooing as he opened his eyes to look at them.

"He is" Ally said as she looked at her son, he looked every bit of Paul but still had some of her features. "He's also really good about sleeping most of the night. Most of the time I have to wake him up to feed him" Ally commented.

"That's-"

Kim was about to say something when Jacob, Quil, and Embry burst through the door. "Sam!" Jacob yelled before spotting the older male on the chair next to Emily. "We have to talk"

The group looked around before Jaxon started wailing due to the loud noises. Ally glared at Jacob before picking the baby out of his carrier and calming him down, Paul ran into the room "what happened?!" He asked frantically before spotting Ally and Jaxon in the corner of the living room.

"What the fuck Jacob?" He asked with a glare as he walked toward his little family.

"I'm sorry, I forgot you three were coming home today" Jacob said sheepishly before turning serious again "Sam, there's an army of Newborn vampires coming in maybe 2 weeks time" he explained hurriedly

"Let me guess" Ally said as she rocked her son "their after Bella" she said before rolling her eyes at the obvious answer when the three were silent. "Of course, it's always her fault"

"Hey!" Jacob said "don't say that"

"Am I wrong though?" Alley questioned

"Its our job to make sure that every person is safe" Jacob argued

"No, it's your job to make sure every member of the tribe is safe. Forks is not in your jurisdiction, it's the Cullen's responsibility" Ally said, she could feel herself becoming enraged by how selfish Jacob was being. How could he let this happen?

"Babe, are you okay?" Paul asked, he could feel the immense heat radiating off of her. She visibly shook causing Jaxon to whine. "Here, let me take the baby" he said before Ally looked at him, here eyes becoming slits before she backed away, clutching her newborn in her arms.

"No he's fine" she almost growled, the group before her all had wide eyes. She never acted like this.

"Ally your burning up" Carrie said as she placed her hand on her daughters head "I'll take Jaxon while you cool off outside" her mom said softly as she gently grabbed her grandson.

"No I don't want to go outside, I wanna get it through Jacob's thick skull that Bella doesn't fucking love him and he looks like a fucking idiot always chasing after her like a lost puppy!" She roared "I will not put my boyfriend and my son in danger just because you have some childish crush on her!"

"Maybe you shouldn't have had that one night stand with Paul and you wouldn't have to think about another life depending on you!" Jacob screamed back causing Ally to shake faster.

"Hey!" Mason yelled as he walked into the house, chest to chest with Jacob.

"Back door Jared!" Paul yelled before pushing Ally out, just in time for her to explode onto all fours.
