Jyotsna means light of the Moon. Jyotsna was as beautiful as the light of the Moon, whose fair skin, soft cheeks, beauty seems inadequate to be described, light curly hair, hanging locks of hair in front, soft calling, sparkling eyes which looked beautiful even without kajal, tears were continuously flowing from the same eyes, and she was chanting the name of Mahadev with her soft pink lips.
Just then she felt someone playing with her hands, scared Jyotsna slowly opened her eyes and started looking here and there, not finding anyone around her, she got more scared and closed her eyes again and in a short while, she fell asleep. That feeling was as if someone was caressing her hair.
