There are so many places in this world. These places are always filled with people, selfish and filthy people. It is wonderful to know that in this huge world, there is one place where no human has ever been to. After all, many years ago, my great grandfather created a portal that is sealed shut for an incredibly long period of time in the woods in which no human or monster can ever cross. Us monsters can live in peace without any human interacting, wanting to kill us all. My great grandmother was caught by humans and has been burned alive which angered my great grandfather. With him wanting to protect all monsters, especially me, my grandparents, and parents, he decided to seal that portal deep within the forest. Now, any human who tries to cross that portal is said to be burnt within just one touch of the portal.

My name is Willow, I'm a witch. Us witches may be immortal but, the only way to kill us is by burning us alive. In honor of my great grandmother, my great grandfather created a rule that if any monster who dares to light a fire intentionally or even joke about fire in front of a vampire will be locked up immediately.

As a teen witch, I have been enrolled to a school in which all monsters are welcome. Wait, what's this? "AHHHHHHHH" The students started screaming. "Veronica! What did I say about letting your bats inside the school!" The siren principal yelled in the hallway. "Whoops, not my fault they wanted to come with me, ahaha!" Veronica laughed, ah- of course, you're wondering who Veronica is? Well, Veronica is the prankster of the school, a vampire. She has been called by the principal so many times. Aside from that, she's friends with Carrie the clown who influenced her. Now, back to the story. "If you keep this up, I assure you will be suspended!" The principal exclaimed angrily. "Yeah, yeah, whatever." Veronica rolled her eyes until she saw– "Hey magician! I've been looking everywhere for you!" She calls me "magician" because I have magic, it annoys me truly. "What do you want now?" She's extremely annoying, I cannot stand her! "Aw, you didn't miss me?" "Now why would I miss someone like you?" "Ouch, that hurts. How about a kiss, hm?" I slapped her arm and pulled her as I whispered in her ear. "Do you want to blow it? Our relationship is a secret if you need to be reminded." "Fine, you're so bossy." "Coming from you?" "You two get to class! It starts in one minute!" The principal interrupted us. Wait, was it too surprising? I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that she's my girlfriend. "Let's go." I said as I let go of her.

30 minutes in class, I got extremely bored from casting spells. Veronica was in a different room, a room for vampires only while I'm in a room with witches. My professor taught us more about a certain spell that caught my attention, a mind control spell. He demonstrated it to us and I was wondering if I can try it on something. The bell rang, meaning it's time for lunch. Veronica sat next to her friends as I was seated with mine. I couldn't help but notice that she kept staring at me. Then suddenly, this happened. "Hey Willow, drink this." Winter, a wolf poured red juice all over me. "What the fuck is wrong with you!?" I yelled. She laughed wickedly until a bat came flying at her face, blocking her way. She tried to shoo it off but tripped. The bat flew away and went straight to Veronica, I immediately knew who got the bat to fly at Winter's face. She scoffed and ran away in embarrassment. "What was that about?" My friend asked. "Yeah, and the bat? Who would've done that?" Another one of my friends asked. "I don't know, but I think I know who did it." I looked over at Veronica who was grinning at me with the bat sitting on her finger. "Damn Nica, you sure are protective over the witch, hm?" Said Carrie. "Of course, Willow is my friend, and I need to stand up for her." "Yeah right, you sure she isn't just a friend? I'm getting pretty suspicious of you." "Shut it Carrie, who wouldn't wanna help their friend?" "If you tripped, I would be laughing my ass off and recording it." "Well duh, you're a clown?" "Shut the fuck up before I pie your face." "How about n–" before Veronica could speak, Carrie threw pie at her face. "Carrie!" "You wouldn't shut up."

Classes are finally over and we're free to go. I was taking my stuff out of my locker and heard someone calling me. "Willow!" Veronica called as she walked closer to me. "What now?" "Can I help? Your bag looks heavy." She insisted. "Is this an excuse for you to walk me home and sleep in my room?" "Maybe" "Fine, just this once since no one is home."

She went in my room a started giving me back hugs. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Are you alright?" "Hm? Why?" "Because of what happened at lunch." "Oh, that, I'm fine." I insisted her. "Sure?" "Very sure" she then kissed my cheek. "Okay, let go now, I need to change my clothes."

In the human world...

"Boss! We found something!" "Everyone, back out, we don't know what's lurking in this forest." One of the investigators touched the portal and started screaming. "FUCK! What's happening!? It burns!" He was burned and melted, leaving his bones behind. Everyone ran away from what happened and reported back to the laboratory. The investigators reported to the mad scientist about the news. "At last, I can get my revenge." The scientist grinned and laughed. "I will avenge you, grandfather. Sooner or later, every monster I find will be burned to crisps until nothing is found. I will never forget what those ratchet witches did to you."
