The rest of the day at the office went pretty fine, I teased madhav about his tone when we were alone, made new friends like lavaniya and prem.
Everyone was laughing and talking at the time of break, but my mind was full with the idea of date with adi. Urghhh.... This is going to be my first date, that too with that khadoos. I think I should leave early and atleast change, my office outfit was so formal for a date. So I went straight to madhav's office and asked him if I could leave early.
He asked "why, are you okay navu? Tabiyat thik hai na? ("Is your health fine?)". "Haanji bhaiyya, I'm absolutely fine, it's just that I have to go somewhere so...." I said, not sure if I should tell him about date. "Are haan, it's your date with adi today na? I totally forgot, he was so excited about it, that idiot called me atleast 50 times today asking about his clothes or where should he take you and what not, best of luck bachha" he chuckled while saying. I was dead shocked, as well as blushing mess, I just took a leave as fast as possible and went to my room.
As I was getting ready, adi's msg came, a smile crept on my face.

Mr. Khadoos: hey, ik it's still early, par I can't wait for our date, so I'm already waiting in the parking of your office, come down as soon as you get free:
Meri jaan: Shoot, I'm really sorry, I just forgot to inform you, I left early from.the office, I'm in my hotel room rn...
Mr. Khadoos: Are it's alright, I'd just pick you up from there, but wait, why did you left early? Are you fine? If you're not well, we can postpone the date.
